I liked "Into The Eagles Nest" on the zx spectrum 128k, when you are walking round the levels shooting the enemy and shooting explosives would wipe a lot of them out including yourself, unless you had an invincibility cheat running and then could go totally crazy.

For me it's the Nintendo game watch series, the one I had was Donkey Kong Junior, i played on it when i had a game loading into my zx spectrum+2 (from tape took ages)

my favorite from the 1980s 8bit era, was Hewson simply because they made great games inc "exolon, cybernoids 1&2" and other cool 8) games on the zx specrum, and on the 128k had cool 8) sounds and music.

In the days i had a zx spectrum+2 I used to hammer on the keyboard or punch the desk when i was playing a game and kept on getting killed (partially on Bedlam) and when games failed to load from tape I used to shout out really loud. :x

I remember the 10p mix ups at the local foreboys newsagents, a bag of various sweets for 10p, and at the same newsagents you could rent videos for about £1, and buy "Zoids" modle kits for about £2.99, and also i remember the magazine "Look in" which i got from the newsagents.
