Nice layout!

I can see that you got a new designer for this issue of RG, Stephen Williams, and he really seems to have put a lot of effort into making it look superb. Great work Stephen!

...And good to read something about Raid on Bungeling Bay. Fantastic game on the C64 (and awful on the Nes)

What did they think of Gremlin Graphics F.O.F.T. (Federation of Free Traders)? A shameless rip-off or a worthy competitor to Elite?

I vote for four ads on one page! And yes, they should go with a theme.

Please no full-page ads...

Re: Miner 2049er

CraigGrannell wrote:Nope. My piece next issue is Tetris. However, Bill said he'd be happy to be interviewed about Bounty Bob, and so if enough people demand it, I can easily enough put together a making-of on 2049er's sequel for a future issue.
Yes! We need this... please.

Just wanted to say that the latest issue is one of the best! Perfect mix of 8bit and 16bit stuff. The layout is really nice this time too... You're doing great!

Let's hope for Nintendo's own sake that they don't drop the GameBoy brand, or it may end up the same way Sony did, when they "forgot" the Walkman brand and now can't get it back on track because of Apple's iPod. Lessons to be learnt, I'm sure...

Yay! PC Engine rocks!

Cool with the Chuckie Egg as well. In my opinion, the best version of that game is on the Amstrad, but truth is that it's one of those rare 8-bit games to get great versions on all the micros.

Under-rated? Surely you must be joking here...?!? What's next, a look at the obscure C64 or the unknown Spectrum? :P

Although he didn't make Jammin' (I think Tony Gibson and Mark Harrison did), could you ask him this: Where did the inspiration for Jammin' come from? The graphics, gameplay and music was very unusual and original - even in those days! Did you guys take a lot of drugs at Taskset while making the game??

Request: Can we have a feature on the MSX? Please? I second that! The MSX had so many great japanese 8bit games that were never in released in europe on the c64 or spectrum. And there's a lot more to the MSX than just the fab Metal Gear and Snatcher! Also, the MSX scene is still very much alive tod...
