Re: NES Lockout Chip possible limitation!!
Disabling the lockout chip will remove the PAL-A\PAL-B problem too. Given you are able to play NTSC titles okay, suggests that yes, there's something else going on here. Have you replaced the pin connector in the console for example?

Re: Craziness In the retro community
Yeah, Kieren is pretty much the Donald Trump of retrogaming... and yes, multiple people have repeatedly requested he gets some sort of help, which is ignored. The AtariAge says it all and more.

Re: From The Forum: 194
Burnout 2, took what was great about the original and made it better, and added the magic of crash junctions. 3 just seemed a bit of a step backwards in the requirement to actually drive accurately (and not wallride constantly) and the one after that was horrendous imo.

Re: Cex now selling Super Nes stuff
Playing an optimised PAL title on a US SNES is a bit funny though... I tried it with Super Tennis (yep that was!) and it was a ludicrously fast match heh...

Definitely Worms, brilliant fun at the time, and kudos to Team17 for hosting top rated user-created SFX packs on their website back in the day. Including one I made from samples of Oasis songs (probably completely illegal now!)

And they were rather fortunate imo to beat the Foxes... otherwise could be on zero or one point now instead.
So who's going to finish higher, Man U or Arsenal?

Re: 2018/19 Football season chat
Yeah meant to be going to that raiders game in October. Might be moved to Wembley Tickets for it aren't on sale until first week of September (unless you've bought a hospitality package), and that's for season ticket holders such as myself. The inside word is that the new WHL may not be ready until...

Re: Selling sealed Radiant Silvergun - looking for advice
i'm slightly confused about the bit in bold. Does this mean if my copy of Radiant Silvergun were to sell for eg £400 and something happens to it in the during transit, I will only get a maximum of £250 back? This "enhanced" compensation seems to be only option that goes beyond the maximum £50 payab...

Re: Selling sealed Radiant Silvergun - looking for advice
One thing I will add, with the exchange rates suppressed right now compared to how they were a few years ago, it's a UK sellers market for international sales, as buyers will bid against their local currency (eg. one buyer might go up to US$500 maximum), but when then converted, you end up with more...

Re: The Wonders of the World Cup
Yeah, this. You can only beat who is in front of you, and if the big teams aren’t there for us to play, whose fault is it? Admittedly it probably helped not having any big team in group H for us to potentially play in the first knockout stage - the seeded team was Poland and they didn’t make it out!
