Re: You Tube downloading

If anyone's looking to do similar on a Mac; using Safari, call up the Activity Window (Window --> Activity), find the tab the video's on, and Alt-double click the address of the video file (you'll know it by seeing its file size downloading on the right side of the window x MB / y MB). The video sho...

Re: Jdanddiet's 1st youtube video!

Nice video, I've sub'd under djshep1973... So jealous to see you have the original PGA Tour Golf! I played that to death back in the day... perhaps I should think about finding myself a new MD some time, could get right back into those EA sports games, especially PGA and the original NHL games.. not...

Re: What are you currently playing?

Been putting time into Afterburner Climax and also that recent Namco comp on PSN... Pacman, Xevious, Galaga, Dragon Spirit... mmmmmm!

The odd game of FIFA too of course, not to mention the plethora of choice on the iTouch...

Re: Post your iPod Touch games here

Just been re-reading the last couple of pages, so sorry for going on about Edge again! Other stuff; loving Football Manager, it's ace... been getting into Canabalt, Cpt Ludwig, Drop7, geo Defense and Orion Racer too... So many of these apps are just so cheap, you can't resist - and so many of them a...

Re: Post your iPod Touch games here

Does anyone have any idea as to when Edge is going to re-appear on the UK App Store? It looks amazing, and I'm dying to play it!

Afterburner Climax on PS3, with the fab retro music on too. Crap score and used continues of course, but I think it still classes as completed... :D

Rainbow Islands, either on the MegaDrive or an Amiga (with a SMS / MD joypad)... Happy days indeed, though I still can't beat it!

Re: Post your iPod Touch games here

I can't believe that I just sat here and read through all 15 pages of this thread! But anyway, here are my favourite iTouch games... Baseball '09 - arcadey take on the sport, with some depth in terms of team rosters. Nice presentation and easy to play. Depict - fun Pictionary style game, with cool 8...

Re: Worst football games!

I agree that Goal! was a top football game, I used to love it on the Amiga; it was like a more controllable Kick Off, though I did love Kick Off 2 for ages as well... but as to the worst one I ever played, probably any of the early FIFA's (MD) or Footballer of The Year on the Speccy, that was awful!

Re: Retro Gamer Now On IPhone

I have to say, I am really looking forward to the inevitable iPad version of this app. I stopped subscribing to RG some time ago, partly due to running out of room to store my magazines, and partly because I didn't feel that I was enjoying the mag enough to justify spending what I was on the subs. H...

Re: Keeping the old consoles alive?

Like others that have replied to this, I've not tried it, but I wonder why you'd want to do it? (Use a SCART to HDMI device, not the keeping old consoles alive bit!) I'm sure any HD box you'd be using will have at least 2 SCART inputs and will display them at both 50 & 60Hz, so why pay over the odds...

Re: Retro Gamer Now On IPhone

I've had a look at this on my iPod Touch, and whilst I welcome the chance to read my favourite gaming mag 'on the go' I do think that I'd prefer to be doing this on an iPad; the only problem with this current app being used on an iPad would be that the current screen view would presumably be scaled ...

I just want to fawn over loads of screen-shots of all those great games!
