Advice Please - Modified GC With Qoob Chip

Hi all, I can't post for sale yet as I haven't reached 50 posts (although I have been a member since 2005 - I really must post more! ) However I'd like some advice/discussion. I have a modified GC with a QOOB chip, so it plays backups & other region games. I'm thinking of selling but I'm not ...

Re: iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch game recommendations

IMHO Final Fight does indeed play superbly - agree with DreamcastRIP. I enjoyed the original hugely in the arcades [mists over]...am I really that old?

Been here since Issue 1 (spotted in Smiths & attracted like a magnet!). Also have Retro Survival CD. New mag is better than ever, I wasn't sure about no CD but the content more than makes up for it. I subscribe so paying around £3.50 per issue. Keep up the FANTASTIC work guys!!

:D :D :D :D

Being a C64 man myself, I think the fact that the carts ran on the C64 as well as the GS certainly prolonged the bread bin's life a bit, which for us loyal followers was certainly a good thing. I had a few cart games and the idea of games loading up a lot quicker was very appealing. Mind, I also had...

The greatest thing is, we all have great memories of our own machines. As long as you personally are happy, it doesn't matter what others think!! As for me, I loved (and still love) the C64 with its fantastic SID chip. Hubbard, Galway, MON, Steve Rowlands, the list goes on...I salute you all. :D :D :D

Re:

Gamestation has its faults tho' see here: http://retropassion.co.uk/retro/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=1797 Sure, I'm not saying they're perfect, that sort of thing doesn't surprise me, but I think they're a better place for Retro stuff and the 2nd hand prices for Xbox etc. are better. That's all I'm say...

Re:

LOL I think you should be well aware of which TR version of which I speak, especially being as I don't rate a stalwart of the C64 games catalogue  as for Wizball I indeed realise it has a truly massive fanbase (and I forgot to mention the music  they all wet themselves over) Its a fair ...

Re:

Sorry but wizball is SOOOOO overated! its an OK game, thats about it - and as for this 'messiah' like status it has acheived for C64 fanboys is just plain crazy! IMO target renegade has TRULY stood the test of time (as has jungle king) All a matter of taste I'm sure but there are a lot of us fanboy...

Re:

Its hardly news though. Game has been consistently priced higher than its competitors for so many things over the last couple of years. Even their pre-owned stock is more expensive. Of all the major retailers, dedicated or not, Game usually offer the worst deal imho. Another good call from Antiriad...
