Re: My year of PS2

Bully is essentially a modern day version of Back To Skool and Skool Daze. It's really decent and the Wii version is pretty fun as well.

Tell us your favourite Pac-Man stories. They can concern conversions of the original game, or anything else you fancy.

Re: From the forum issue 178 - Goldeneye

I personally think the single player of GoldenEye holds up extremely well. Yes it's clunky to play now compared to PS2 and Xbox shooters (and anything later for the matter) but the level design is exceptionally good (particularly on the later difficulty levels) and the frame-rate isn't affected in t...

Re: Yuji Naka

We've interviewed him in issue 100 about SOnic the hedgehog but that's about it. Nick would have a better idea as he writes all our sonic articles.

Re: Retro Gamer issue 177

Was there a tussle going on between the SNES and Megadrive communities? Seems a little suspicious that those two particular rivals should end up first and second. Hmm. No tussle, as we mention in the issue 59% of readers who voted for the Mega Drive also voted for the SNES. As for the oiled up mach...

Re: Retro Gamer issue 177

I am very surprised to see the NES so high on the list, given that the voters would be largely UK based. I never knew of a single person who owned a NES back in the day, but I knew of about 10 people who owned Atari STs, for example - yet the Atari ST didn't even make the top 30! This seems quite s...

Re: Retro Gamer issue 177

I'm guessing the votes were largely cast on Facebook too? There were (strangely) hardly any votes for the C64 in this thread, if memory serves, and yet it came 8th? It's all this new fangled social media now-a-days! Yes, Facebook, Twitter, Newsletters, forums. We basically used the same process tha...

I believe that in the feature the Apple II came in at an achingly close #31. Please confirm my suspicions are true Darran.
I'd imagine nick will put up the final list. We'll let everyone discuss the top 30 for the time being.

Re: Space Invaders 40 years old today

Where does the time go!
We're in the process of tracking down the developer who made the original killer app for the Atari 2600, so hopefully they'll be a feature later in the year.
