Re: What Films/TV Have you Watched Recently?

I'm currently planning to watch every film I own (which will most likely take all of the year). Follow my journey here. https://letterboxd.com/retrodaz/ I like that, appreciate the things you have. Could also be an opportunity to say... nah I don't want this. That's exactly what I'm planning to do....

The point about the last Christmas cover being the worst seller isn't compelling.
I'm sorry, but we've no current plans to run Christmas covers. If we do change this stance you'll see a Christmas cover next November :)

Re: Your New Retro Gamer Community Team

And this is where the US/UK divide comes in. It's a bit lost on me. NES wasn't a big deal here for most of us. We were all playing computer games, with the odd smattering of Master System and Mega Drive (Genesis is a band, not a console, to quote RGR). Around then we'd have been at the tail end of ...

Re: Your New Retro Gamer Community Team

We use a 15 year rule in the mag , the same rule should apply for the official forum. so the 360 came out in 2005 does that mean in 2020 the 360 will be retro :D  that will blow some peoples minds if it does that It won't be retro to you, but it will be retro to someone in their 30s  A...

Re: Your New Retro Gamer Community Team

It's simple, 2 generations back. That is pretty much the rule everyone uses now. So Xbox is retro but Xbox 360 isn't. We use a 15 year rule in the mag , the same rule should apply for the official forum. Having said that we also mention relevant new games in the magazine as well, so there's no need...

Are they in a time zone remotely relevant to ours, or can we expect delays of a day or more in responses due to the difference?
I'm sure Josh can answer that for you.

Re: Your New Retro Gamer Community Team

No. That will not be our policy. Will not? Good to hear. When will it be changing to this new policy? A strange silence from out new community team since Friday morning, and no indication of when we'll be moving from the current policy of 'ban first, change the rules to fit later'. It's worth point...

Re: Toki Remake - Switch

Definitely want this... but £35-£40 for a physical copy? Ouch. I know it's a 'collector's edition' but it just feels like a rip-off compared to other similar remakes/updates such as Sonic Mania (£20-£25) for example. I suppose Flashback collector's edition was £35-£40 too, but that soon came down t...

Re: Retro Gamer - Issue 188

I personally feel the 29th of November is far too soon for a Christmas themed cover. Darran I agree with all the other points but not this - I have most of my Christmas shopping done, I've been on a Christmas night out, all the Christmas lights are on around town and the shops having been pushing C...
