Re: Lets talk about vinyl

Received a lovely red/gold 180gm reissue of Therapy? Nurse today. First one I've had from the Music On Vinyl label and I'm quite impressed with the overall quality. Awaiting the arrival of Drive Like Jehu, and Wovenhand's Refractory Obdurate. My 'Nurse' should be arriving today too! I picked up Ref...

Re: PS3 Gaming is great, get on board yo

I played the PS4 remaster, and I loved it. Only the second game I've ever Platinum-ed, the first being Assassin's Creed II, so it's in esteemed company.

It was a lunchtime show on ITV that I remember being similar to Jackanory called something like We'll tell you a story presented by Christopher Lillicrap.

Yeah that series looks really good, if the quality of the pressing on the first release is decent I might subscribe.

Re: David Bowie dead at 69

Cheers Carl. I was looking at the compilation earlier, but am going to go for the vinyl version, because you know :) Had my eye of the new album too, but £35 seems a little extortionate. The only problem with the vinyl comp is that is has a lot less tracks than the CD version....as usual.... :x The...

Re: David Bowie dead at 69

I've never had much of a musical relationship with Bowie, but this is shocking and terrible news. Short of a compilation, can anyone recommend a good album to start with? He switched styles so many times it's really difficult to pick one... My recommendation would be.... This triple CD set "Nothing...

Yeah agreed - I'm playing Rogue at the moment (which is excellent), and the sections where you leave the Animus are just annoying....

Re: The great big RG weight loss thread

I've got a fair bit to lose - thing is I don't eat much, I'm just a lazy git! First thing is cutting out mid-week beers - I usually have a beer or two every night, haven't done that this week (except for Friday, obviously. I'm not an animal) and I've lost a couple of pounds already. Also having frui...

Re: Old TV shows that no one you talk to remembers.

Been meaning to post on that but been putting it off as the name of one the Deceptercons is eluding me even with google.. When I used to play Transformers with my friend liked the look of one of the combiner teams and my friend said he was called the Butcher as he killed a lot of Autobots in a swam...
