I've been considering joining, but beyond my trusty spectrum emulator, I've no idea where to begin. Most of my retro gaming is on the actual systems rather than emulation, so if someone can point me in the right direction I may be able to join in.

Just picked up Marvel vs Capcom 2 (yay!) along with Herdy Gerdy (both PS2).

Yesterday I finished SOS: The Final Escape in 4 hours which was pretty disappointing, although there are 6 different endings, so I may return to it at some point to unlock the others.

Finished Dragon Quest 8 and Cold Fear this week. Next up, a run through SOS: The Final Escape and a spot of Chuckie Egg I think. :)

Just passed 70 hours (sigh...) in Dragon Quest 8, ready to tackle the final run of bosses, but first I'm trying to boost my winnings in the casino to unlock some unique equipment. Think I'll need a bout of Burnout 3 afterwards for a nice change of pace.

Getting through DQ8. Actually enjoying it this time. I stopped fairly early on when I first tried it as I found it quite stale, but this time I've gotten into it more and am finding it rather engaging, although it definitely could do with some more fleshed-out content. Other than that I've just gott...

They now seem to be cashing in on "retro branded" merchandise like old-school Nintendo wallets, T-shirts, belt-buckles etc. Although Plymouth's GS has brought back a small Retro section after they removed it for the Xmas period, they do use more space for the crap you mentioned above than the retro...

Picked up Sensible Soccer 2006 (PS2) new, for £2.98! in Game today, so that'll be keeping me busy tonight. I've also been ploughing through Dragon Quest 8 and going through my PS1 games to see what I can box up to clear some space.

Had a quick blast through a load of Megadrive games today before I packed it away to make room for something else. I'm was gonna pull out my Dreamcast, but since I can't find the VMU there's no point in me playing anything which'll take longer than a few hours on that. Therefore I think it's either ...

I'm on a roll this weekend. Completed Brothers in Arms: EIB this afternoon, and I've just managed to scrape through the final level in Smuggler's Run! Finally!

I've also got the beta of Lord of the Rings Online updating right now, so that should be a change of pace for the next couple of days.

Brothers in Arms: Earned in Blood (PS2). This has been sat on my shelf since I bought it. I completed (and loved) the original, but I've never had the urge to play this one before now.

Which shop? Please say they've got a branch oop North That was in GAME. These were apparently pre-owned though, so don't think these are prices new. I should've put that in the other post, sorry. However, considering the number of copies they had there, and how mint the condition (perfectly new as ...

Bit of a psuedo-retro bargain find today. Picked up both Midway Arcade Treasures 1 & 2 along with Atari Anthology for the PS2 today in a 3 for 2 offer at £4 each. Not too bad for 129 retro games.

Found a pre-owned copy of Every Extend Extra (psp) too for a tenner.

Smuggler's Run (PS2). A game which I traded away rather hastily many years ago after I got annoyed by it's super-tough AI police. I picked up another copy for £1.50 yesterday to see if it was really that tough or simply me being crap! Find out next week; same retro time, same retro channel!...

Re: Nintendo DS Games

But what else is great? Craig keeps mentioning Zoo Keeper, whats that about? It's a puzzle game (or maybe it isn't...) where you have to drag matching tiles into lines to remove them. Rather basic stuff, but as addictive to play as most other puzzlers. I am particularly looking for Phoenix Wright, ...
