Weird, I didn't see it yesterday in Peterborough WHSmiths. Mind you, I was in a hurry so as to avoid a parking ticket. Couldn't be arsed paying and displaying when I was going to be three minutes (I ran).

Re:

I'd have to say the Command & Conquer series. The first time I saw C&C I was blown away by the amount of control you had over your units - considering what I'd been used to Dune II. At school we spent hours playing this at school, along with each eagerly anticipated sequel - minutes dissapeared int...

I'd have to say the Command & Conquer series. The first time I saw C&C I was blown away by the amount of control you had over your units, as well as the lovely visuals and sound - considering what I'd been used to with Dune II on my black and white laptop sans sound card. At school we spent hours pl...

I am a recent convert to the DC after my bro bought me one for Chrimbo. It's tremendous, I love discovering a new console. Yeah yeah, hate me for not "being there for Sega", but I was at uni at the time and couldn't afford any games, so meh.

If they can get away with it then they'll rip you off. I said this on the old RG forums it's been there for that long... in the Hanley branch, there's an unboxed Sega Nomad in the window for £159.99 thats been there that long, the price has totally faded and you can barely see it. They do make mist...

I think it was Super Mario Land on the GameBoy. I was on a school trip in France, it was Bastille night and while the frogs were partying, I was kicking ass on SML. I was so happy - hence why I can still remember it really well.

Re:

I'll definitely be going to the Retro Ball this year. It's a shame there's no CGE on. Maybe it will return one day So are there any for the south of the country..? You know, where we keep the capital and the people don't talk all funny ;) How about venturing somewhere outside of the south? Some peop...

Nah, it's not bad... it's terrible.

Other than that, I can't disagree with these suggestions. The SMS is a fantastic system, well traded.

I used to type stuff into my Archimedes A3000 from Let's Compute - they regularly printed incorrect stuff. Most of the time it worked though.

Re:

And as for the massive files? Do you really expect 56k users to stay with their PCs for hours on end to make sure their ISP doesn't cut them off, despite the fact that a very important call could come as well, which could get blocked by dial-up use? And I suppose you expect 14.4kb modem users to wa...

Re:

Miracle World was the one. It was initially available commercially, but then got bundled into the MS2 models, I believe. I had an early MS and had to pay for the game, but it was worth every penny! Also, who remembers the MS conversion of Mortal Kombat? The graphics, given the system, were fantasti...
