Re: What games/consoles have you bought this week??

I didn't actually buy it in the end, but I came PERILOUSLY close to pulling the trigger on a PS Vita over on Ebay earlier in the week. I find the console a really attractive proposition in theory, and there are a good few games on the system that I'm interested in, but realistically, it just feels l...

Re: Spectrum Vega Plus Poll

Here's the video you've all been waiting for! A full review and overview of the doomed Sinclair ZX Vega+ Handheld! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k9i2aBPKiRw Watched that earlier and enjoyed (if that's the right word, given the circumstances?) seeing how dreadfully it turned out. If that isn't a p...

Re: Nintendo Switch Discussion

Work's kept me busy, so I've not had a lot of time to cheeck in on the forum. But, with regard to my screen protector issue: I have heard of this but not experienced it myself. Maybe the quality of the protector and how well it's applied determines how much it's at risk of this. Perhaps taking the c...

Re: Nintendo Switch Discussion

I've had a bit of a weird experience with my Switch this week - just wanted to see if anyone else has had anything similar. I've had a bit of spare time over the last few days, so finally decided I'd crack open the Switch version of Skyrim. I generally play games with the Switch docked, and noticed ...

Re: What are you currently playing?

I've been playing Warhammer 40,000: Space marine for the last few days.

So far, it's done nothing truly exceptional, but it's a REALLY solid game. And some of the combat is very satisfying.

Re: Spectrum Vega Plus Poll

To be honest, is ANYBODY surprised?

In a morbid sense, I almost can't wait for the inevitable fall-out from this. My Youtube feed's gonna go nuts...

Re: wii U

Just be aware the 3DS version is an local/offline affair. Only the Wii U version connects online. The other 3DS MHs however do allow you to go online. Appreciate the extra info! To be hinest, that doesn;t bother me, as I''m one of these old, opinionated farts who never, ever does online multiplayer...

Re: Spectrum Vega Plus Poll

I'm a Spectrum Next backer and I think the way the campaign's run has been exemplary. There have been quite a few delays but communication has been excellent - there have been regular emails explaining exactly what's happening. Hey - me too! Can't wait to receive my Next! Totally agree on all the p...

Re: wii U

I might actually see if I can grab a copy of Monster Hunter Ultimate 3 for my New 3DS, then. I do have Tri for the Wii, but any excuse to dodge motion controls works for me!

Re: wii U

It's certainly worth waiting until E3 to see if any more ports are announced, I wouldn't be shocked to see NSMB U, Mario 3D World, Pikmin 3, Xenoblade Chronicles X and Wonderful 101 ported to the Switch eventually. I seems the the Switch is slowly getting ports of all the good Wii U stuff. Bayonett...

Re: Back in Time Sime - YouTube Show

Please do keep updating!

Something I've learned in my own Youtube adventures is that you can never underestimate the usefulness of publicising content elsewhere outside the site.

When I get a chance, I'll be sure to go and check these videos out.

Re: wii U

It's true some of it's games are ported or being ported, but similarly the Wii U had superior ports of previous gen Nintendo exclusives such Twilight Princess, Windwaker, and Monster Hunter Tri, if those interest you? Also the Wii U doubles as a Wii opening that entire library to you aswell if you ...

Re: Spectrum Vega Plus Poll

Has this been on Watchdog as a showcase of the potential pitfalls of crowdfunding yet? Would make an interesting piece and would be amusing to see them trying to avoid questions in the street. Weren't RCL a bit inclined to lean on the legal threats option when the BBC reported on this before? I'd h...

Re: wii U

Ahh, this topic... The Wii U's been one of the systems I've been eyeing up for a while. Every now and then, I'll see a new boxed system come up for sale somewhere, and my hand hovers over the button marked 'press this to slash cash.' But with some of the system's exclusives heading to the Switch now...
