Re: PlayStation game banned

i suppose... i'm just really weird and perverted :( maybe this isn't the right forum for me tbh. i'm kinda too young to understand stuff. though i was worried a while ago that i could have been something a threat, though i realised i did have the decency not to act on stuff like that should it arise...

Re: PlayStation game banned

Yeah, censorship is not good.
Also you're right, this sorta stuff reflects the niche side of their culture, I guess ^^

Re: games where the original was best

Tetris What are we considering to be the original Tetris? The first Gameboy version perhaps perfected it, but that isn't the original. The original Tetris would be the text-only version for the Elektronika 60, a Russian clone of the PDP-11. In terms of the gameplay though, the Gameboy version is pr...

Re: Introduce yourself

My LCD TV's from about 2008, and it actually sounds pretty nice, though I do plug it into a pair of external speakers sometimes if I feel like it. ^^
But yes, enjoying gaming is the main point :3

Great point, being able to speed it up was cool.
Forgot that was a thing in the MD version, while SNES had to wait a bit later. :P

Re: Mini Sega Megadrive anyone?!

the cheap machine with the premium price ! Apple in a nutshell :D ---- Anyhow, I'd like to see something like a mini Master System, especially if they released it in America with games that were originally only released in the PAL market. Maybe it would open up their eyes to that system, since it's...

Re: Games that are better on inferior hardware

Hi, How about a feature on games that were better on inferior hardware. For example Sonic on the master system was clearly better then sonic on the megadrive It wasn't clearly better, they're both amazing games in their own right (though I prefer the SMS version). However, I do think this would be ...

Re: What games would you like to see remastered?

I'd love to see the SNES DKC games remastered with true 3D graphics, it already looks and plays amazing and probably doesn't need a remaster, but yeah. Wonder how levels like *shudders at its difficulty* Tanked-Up Trouble would be. "But Sega isn't the sole company to under-utilize their potential in...

Amazing! Why was it canned - I haven't heard of this before, or if I did it was quite a while ago. Deserves to be covered in the magazine, if you ask me ^^

Wow... a UK gaming legend lost :(
Know the cause of death, or is it not know yet?
Think sadly cancer
Damn, my dad's uncle died of cancer about four weeks ago, though they lost contact years ago and I never met them.

Re: PlayStation game banned

Um, I like that kinda style, but it wouldn't corrupt my mind to the extent I want to see something like that for a real life person, that would be completely wrong. I'm fine with fictional ecchi/whatever but if it was strongly based on or was real life, I'd be against it. Maybe it's just me being st...

Re: My year of PS2

Try to get a PS2 slim if possible, because most fat models can't play early games (blue CD-based games) and such and the lasers fail easier on them, it's a sign the laser is dying and as the days go they will be harder to find, given (IIRC) the slim was in production for longer. I have SCPH-75003 mo...

Re: games where the original was best

Donkey Kong springs to mind, not counting the Country series, which I consider as some kind of continuation/spin-off. Tetris too. Going by remakes of games, Super Mario 64 and Diddy Kong Racing are superior to their respective DS remakes. Oh, and Sonic 1 Master System. S2 on SMS was just unfairly di...

Re: From The Forum 181_: Favourite Street Fighter game

SFII Champion Edition on the Mega Drive - a great 6 button controller and playing as the bosses bested the SNES version. Now I'll play on either 16 bit console but after that the games became too complex. I have to agree that the best port made at the time was the MD version. I think my sister's bo...
