Re: 52 Game Challenge

I used to do this. Now, it's less committal, more like, "Well old chap, you've beaten that one now haven't you, what now then?" I fare well straying far from games with no ending, and have dropped multiplier games almost completely (save the likes of puzzlers like puyo). I like the sense of completi...

First they took the youtube videos, then took the vertical spreads

‘Twas a fateful issue, 164, she marked the end of them beloved YouTube preissue teasers. Then came 173, not a vertical spread to to be seen. Dark omens... I could be mistaken, but I’ve read it twice and the closest thing I’ve found to the vertical spread was the map on shock troopers or the taiko dr...

We wouldn’t have a first go at sonic “2”-player (muy puns are bad) or tails without it, would we lads? I still give’um a 97 outta 100.

Re: How about vid.me instead of youtube?

Eh? Pay for a preview of the mag? Is that something people would do?? I pay for the mag - I would NOT pay for a preview video  It's more than a preview, it's all the personality, quips, and whit that are not able to be portrayed in the print. I mean we wouldn't have the vertical spread joke ...

How about vid.me instead of youtube?

I miss the videos guys! If you migrated the videos to vid.me, after i think 50 subscribers, vid.me allows you to monetize the channel by adding a subscriber fee. (i think a 1.99 or more). Similar to say, patreon, but for a video channel. A 1.99 for a 10-15 minute episode is something i would definit...

Re: Retro Gamer - Issue 170

They day they trade 8 bit/ 16 bit for disc systems, is the day I'm done reading the magazine. A feature hear or there, tolerable, but I read it to read about the oldie olde stuff

Re: From The Forum issue 172 - ZX Spectrum Anniversary

I love reading about the ingenuity and seeing all the homebrews. Diverse and, at the same time, solitary in the colors is something I never get over.

Everything for me is Emulation based, though I am hoping to get my hands on a spectrum next.

Re: Arcade machine restorations

Showing some of the coding loops and hook and bits... I would love to see some DigDug/Mr.Do blocks on the original language. Like what was Mr.Do's attack code looking like vs DigDugger's
