I have a couple of speccys in my gaming den (along with a few C64's and loads of other stuff). I was never a speccy fan as a kid but do like using the little computer nowadays. I must admit to emulating most of the time though. Always found it amusing at school back in the 80's. There were loads of ...

Re: unreleased bootled cds/dvds

I disagree on piracy ...... in terms of bootlegs I have... Aren't bootlegs a form of piracy??? Well, the artist is not getting any money for it. It may not be available legally but it still means someones work is being dished out without their consent. So yes, it has to be a form of piracy. I'm hun...

Re: Retro Gamer - Issue 170

Not sure about the cover but a good issue. C64 and StarCraft are the best articles in there this month.

Oh! and I'm in the 'from the forum' section :)

I'd prefer her to be on a skateboard rather than cycle on the roads! She'd be killed every day. :x

I've got loads of Tesco clubcard points - so any time we go to the cinema, we use them as a freebie.

Re: Retro Gamer - Issue 169

Next month date is wrong shall I take it that 13th July is next issue (as it currently says 13th June) or a different date? Yes it's an error. We got two of the letters wrong! Ha! Haven't even got to the letters yet. Any consolation, Edge printed my letter under someone else's name :D :D I'd assume...

Entombed by Ultimate Play the Game. Chunky graphics but boy was that an atmospheric game! Also Master of Magic by Mastertronic as had that haunting and very long Hubbard soundtrack to draw you into a £1.99 bargain.

Re: If You Could Choose One System

I'd go with the Amiga. Stuff anything Nintendo or Sega (well, maybe not the Dreamcast) and no way anything Atari. The Amiga was (and still is) awesome.

Re: Retro Gamer - Issue 169

Kwah was an interesting game back in the day but I never really got anywhere with it! Interesting read though and I may even boot up an emulator to give it a go. The Scramble article was good and I thought I was going mad when I saw that very small list of machines it arrived on. Then noticed all th...

Re: Introduce yourself

Hi, I'm Patrick (as you can tell from my Avatar) Massive Amiga fan and would love to get a collection like I had years ago! Never really been into modern gaming but do own a 360. Is that retro yet? Where would be the best place to buy an Amiga at a reasonable price? I know they are on Ebay but there...
