Re: Zzap64 Annual kickstarter now open

Pin badges... there are loads of great perks, but bloody pin badges really don't do it for me. I'd love to be 13 again, but I am in my late 40's and my kids think I'm strange enough already.

Re: Local real collections

I’m utterly stunned why there hasn’t been a feature on arcade club. I would imagine because it's such a long way from Bournemouth making a trip there quite difficult. WHAT! Are you saying everyone that writes for RG lives in Bournemouth? Do you? Arcade Club should have been covered by now and maybe...

Re: Discuss: Spectrum vs Amstrad Gaming

With the Speccy I kind of get the impression that if you were a fan as a kid, you're a fan for life. Plus it really benefited from having Crash and Your Sinclair that gave it a cult appeal even though it had tons of mass appeal at the time. Also, being the underdog (technically) affected that too. ...

Re: Discuss: Spectrum vs Amstrad Gaming

It is amazing how things could change though. If my best mate had an Amstrad that Xmas then i would have followed him months later and got one for my birthday (or next xmas). Back then computers were new as anything, instead or parents buying their kids a £20 Tomy and a few star wars figures sudden...

Re: Questions for Matt Gray

1. Who is the best (in your opinion) C64 musician - feel free to pick yourself! 2. Are you doing fresh music for Hunters Moon remake (that I have backed) or is it remixes? 3. I backed Reformation 1 and it is awesome. I've backed Reformation 2 - will there be more? 4. What is the single most stand-ou...

Re: Retailers in trouble

Its crazy when you hear about some of the rents shops have to pay. No wonder many of them are disappearing as they simply cant afford them - talking the independant type of ones. I remember people being sad when Woolworths went but how many people used them in the latter years ? Perhaps a bit of pi...

Re: The Book of the Game of the Film: fewer than 100 copies remain, so make haste!

I did a review of this rather lovely book on You Tube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A1hgyO5csn8 8) Good review there. Just need to point out that Kung Fu Master was based on a film.... It was called Spartan X in Japan to tie in with the Jackie Chan movie of the same name..better known In the Wes...

Re: The64 - Computer And Handheld Console

The bigger model isn't out yet but is in prototype stage, I've seen it! I thought you didn't like the C64?! :? Anyway, is there a release date for the bigger version and as the questions above by English Invader weren't answered: Can The64 handle multi-load games and cartridge files or not? I didn'...
