Re: Issue 170 overseas delivery

Yeah, mine arrived ages ago which was a shock as I wasn't expecting it so soon. However GAMES tm arrived much later on despite the fact they were sent on the same date. :?

It hasn't been bad for me for some reason, I live further away in Perth, Australia. They tend to arrive just a week or two after the news-agency gets their airfreight expensive copies....
No damage to them at all.

Its funny as Retro gamer arrived but not Games tm. They generally arrive a few days apart as they share the same release days.

Re: What Films/TV Have you Watched Recently?

Broken - A great tv series about a catholic priest with a very troubled conscious. Its very well made, this poor bastard was abused as a child by a priest. He has people telling him in confession they want to kill themselves and he has to live with himself when he fails to stops them. At one stage h...

Re: Retro Gamer - Issue 170

And the day they stop covering playstation 2 is the day I stop reading too. Its not just about you, and its not just about me. Its about covering systems that are 10 years old and older.
edit - Sorry Darren, didn't see you sneak in there.....

BTW - Is Atari 2600 and the Vic 20 officially 4 bit?

Re: Retro Gamer - Issue 170

Do you really want coverage of mediocre crap because all the greats have been covered already?
Maybe you're right but it'll be interesting to see what they can come up with. I guess even average & awful games can have great stories behind them....
The story of ET was entertaining after all.

Re: What Films/TV Have you Watched Recently?

To be fair he does have a couple of good films in Happy Gilmore and The Wedding Singer. Punch-Drunk Love is supposed to be good as well where he plays a more serious role. I remember he received really good reviews for that one. Punch-Drunk Love is in my top 5 most loved films of all time at number...

Re: Retro Gamer - Issue 170

The problem is that the 8bit/16bit era has been done to death in Retro Gamer and I don't know about you but I have had my fill of Sonic and Dizzy. PS2 is retro to a-lot of people including myself and is now considered pretty ancient. I would love to see more playstation 2, original xbox and gamecube...

Re: Sonic the hedgehog - MASTER SYSTEM

Yes like Prinny said, they are oranges and apples in comparison to each other. I always preferred the sega master-system version though the megadrive game did grow on me over the years. I used to hate it as I played Sonic 2 before it. Its hard to appreciate sonic 1 on megadrive as it does not have t...
