Re:
Well, I'm not posh and I owned a CPC. And Rodney from Only Fools & Horses is the very antithesis of posh and he used one too. But I know you Amstrad knockers are only joshing really - and after all, when a basic modern mobile phone contains 10 times the processing power of the C64, Spectrum and CPC...

Erm... as one of the bashees I'd just like to point out that I'm not taking offence to the bashing and actually quite enjoy the banter that comes with it... Anyway, back on topic: Great CPC Games: - Get Dexter La Abadia del Crimen (if you are fluent in Spanish...) Bumpy Island of Dr Destructo Skweek...

GX4000. They said it was going to be a 16-bit console system that would stick it to Sega, Atari and Nintendo. They lied... You didn't see the big hint on the box? ITS AN AMSTRAD!   You got to feel sorry for the poor fools who belived that by sticking a CPC inside a Cylon fighter sha...

Re:
Well, you Spectrum owners drooled over that naff 'Ant Attack' thingy. I mean what was that all about? A few shaded blocks thrown together and you call it a 'city' ? Gullible fools... yeah, what you seem to be forgeting is that game was released before you CPC owners had even heard of electri...

GX4000. They said it was going to be a 16-bit console system that would stick it to Sega, Atari and Nintendo. They lied... With some more support and a better cart producing plant, they just might have pulled it off too... ended up a victim of lazy porting. They only person I ever saw play one was M...

Hi! I'm an Amstrad Fan and one of my recent Ebay wins (well, recent being about two months ago!) was a bulk lot of Disk Amstrad games for a reasonable £22 inc p+p. Amongst the many games were boxed Disk versions of Marsport and Dun Darach. Instinct suggests that these are particularly rare based o...

I know it was mentioned in the isometric round-up in ish 28 but I'd love to see a full article on 'La Abadia Del Crimen' - it looks and plays fantistically especially on the CPC - the only stumbling block being that its all in Spanish... still it is playable in English thanks to the MSX2 remake... i...
