Could somebody please provide a brief re-cap of this thread. I don't have the willpower to wade through over a 100 pages... Just tell me who I should be quoting and calling a censored please. (Preferably someone who has taken part in some mindless CPC bashing - again it might be best to just pick on...

2 Speccies and only 1 Amstrad. You suprise me Ritchardo. HEY! Don't tar me with the same brush as some of the other mentalists coming on here and ranting about the number of Spectrum screenshots in RG and so on * cough * Gryzor * cough * Technically I could take LoM on the Amstrad but I migh...

1. Mario 64 (N64) - Truthfully? I've never been able to get into this one but I do really enjoy it (if that makes sense). Stuck on a desert island I'd love to be able to devote the time it'll take to master it. 2. Head over Heels (CPC) - Similar to Mario 64 in that I've never mastered it but I've sp...

Cheap Hosting

Hello all! Looking for a little advice from the jaded forum-ites with regards to finding a decent webhost to set-up a new intra-ma-net site that I have up my sleeve. I've been working on an Amstrad CPC version of the Gamebase (no sniggering at the back please!) and am looking to set-up a site that w...

I've gone for Space Crusade.

It was like Laser Squad without the thinking.

What about that horrendous computer/board game hybrid Brian Clough's Football Fortunes?

My parents bought me an Amstrad CPC 464 and it seemed a bit of a bolt out of the blue to be honest - I was probably too young to own or properly appreciate a computer but having said that it was most definitely partly responsible for the head start I had over my peer group at school in terms of nume...

Are you unsure as to which of the big two you should vote for? Then vote Amstrad - The Liberal Democrat's 8-bit. Let's make this a three party [computer] system. For the purposes of this analogy the Beeb is the British National Party (mostly because they rhyme - nearly) and confuse bitter pensioners...

Re:

I have a copy of Amstrad Action number 1. I am wanting to swap it for a boxed gameboy, (Any other than a clear purple or lime green colour) for my little brother. Would also take a tenner for it. Cheers, See - you said 'Amstrad Action No.1', I replied 'ISSUE 1' and took it that you meant the magazi...

The Lurking Horror - the best of the Infocom bunch and chock full of brown trouser moments - never the same after you've cracked it :(

Speaking of cracking it... I'd quite like to be able to play the Dizzy games from scratch...

Went to a church fete type thing and picked up:

Sonic 2, Wonder Boy III, Space Harrier II and Mega Games 2 for the Megadrive (take it the family loved sequels) for £2.

Donkey Kong Country for 50p

Box of various leads and controllers for £1

Not too bad and the money went to a decent cause.

I think it was Bomb Jack but I can't be 100% certain. If it wasn't first then it was pretty damn close.

Re:

And anymore of that kinda talk and there won't be any  Oh come on! I was expecting at least a half arsed joke about being a criminal or piracy or something along those lines. Anyway to reach a compromise why don't the home computer lot gang up on the console owners and drive them into the ...
