Super Hang-On (C64)

Super Hang-On (C64) I so LOVED this game in the arcade - & when I saw there were home computer conversions I was in heaven. I read reviews on the Amiga/ST versions - looked SUPERB in the screenshots - then saw a Speccy review - it was good too - and the monochrome graphics were pretty classy. But n...

There's a PS1 port of Souky so its easily emulated on that platform. The Sega purists will balk at that, but its a decent enough conversion and probably your easiest option at trying it out - PS1 emulation, even with the slight slowdown the port has, will be far smoother and cleaner that Saturn emu...

Ha Ha. Always wanted to be famous. Now I am! And I had the smart idea of using a photo as an Avatar. That way I can get my picture in the mag too. :D THREE posts now........WOW  Isn't this a little elitist? Surely It's the quality of a post rather than quantity or time served? VERY PROB...

I'd never heard of Soukyugurentai !

Really Layer Section? I guess its ok looking but souky pulls it apart I think anyway. If you want massive sprites check Souky's 4th lvl boss. It's monstrous. It's at the end of the video here which shows the 4th level: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3FUU8dMZWuU 2nd level here with big sprite action...

Sorry - I'm not sure of the problem. Sure it sound...

Looks cool. How about vertical-scrolling, space-themed ones with power-ups a plenty?

As far as I know it won't run directly from the DVD as the audio and video files have to be ripped and converted from the DVD file into files that the emulator understands. If there is a later verion that does read from the DVD I haven't heard of it. Having said that, Dragon's lare and Space Ace et...

DAPHNE Question Reasked

Hi again. Just wondered if anyone could advise on this? I'm wanting to try to run the DAPHNE emulator on my laptop. But I'm a little worried by required file size (my laptop only has a 40GB Hard Drive). I am able to obtain the MPEG files for each game on DVD. However, I was wondering whether I *need...

I wanna start at the beginning (I take it 'Metal Slug - Super Vehicle 001' is the 1st isn't it?). There are sooooo many gaming franchises that I have totally missed out on over the years. 'Metal Slug', 'House of the Dead' (just got 1st one of that running on Nebula emu), virtually all fighting game ...
