Re: Another Metro list article- most valuable video games

It is a terribly poor article by Love Antiques and a sobcalled expert. Prices on most games are way off. So many more valuable games missing. The article itself has flaws. I am now off to Ebay to buy Snowboard Kids 2 for a few hundred and then see if Love Antiques offer me 2k for it. If so. I will c...

Re: Arcades–thrill from thought of losing money, or from gam

Loved arcade machines but never met a person whoever completed fully an actual arcade game.

I always think about the Simpsons episode with Homer learning how to beat Bart by going to a kid in the arcades and then nearly beating him until Marge pulled the plug.

Re: Which was really better - 64 or ZX?

Neither. Commodore 128 was better. :D The one with the ropey SID chip? To be honest, I don't know what a SID chip is now let alone back when I was a young'n playing it. :D I never had any faults or problems with it, but sounds like that may have been one of the many reasons why it didn't ...

Re: My Collection

May I ask if you what point of the compass you live in the country. I would guess North West which is nowhere near me. If it's to personal I understand. I just can't believe how good the car boots are in that area of the country. If its too intrusive a q, I apologise. There is a car boot section on...

Re: Best/worst franchise deviations

Too many to list...most 3d games are awful.

Re: Which was really better - 64 or ZX?

Neither.

Commodore 128 was better. :D

I really like both and it is hard to pick and both have games that are improbable to complete.

Commodore on graphics and games just shades it for me.

Re: What Are Your Favourite C64 Games?

Well I owned a Commodore 128 so will have to go with the games which were compatible and fortunately most of them were:

Best game was Pirates. Super fun and addictive.

Special mentions go to: Monty on the Run, T.M.N.T, Solomans Key, Rampage, Bazooka Bill and Football Manager 2

Re: My Collection

Looks like you need more Nintendo :P 90% of the stuff I get is from car boot sales, but it gets harder each year, less stuff, more people collecting or buying to sell it on or people asking Ebay prices for stuff! You got 90% of your stuff from car boots....oh come on seriously? All those Gameboys a...

Re: What games/consoles have you bought this week??

Bought a boxed Snes in pretty good nick for 70 quid from a high street shop....would have cost me a ton on ePay.

Bought the rarest game ever made on the Mega Drive for a few quid for s#### and giggles.

Ps2 Dynasty Warriors xtreme 3 (i think) cost £2

Re: Best "Kart" racer?

Super Mario Kart on the SNES one of the best games ever made wins hands down. The others are try to be versions with better graphics but theres only one winner in gameplay....and music for that matter.
