Re: The Game Gadget

Right ignore that, got the thing activated. Just installed the 10 free games and all of the freeware that was available. Played shadow dancer for 5 mins, turned it off, restarted and am being told that the data is corrupted and I need to reinstall the firmware. Of course, there is no firmware to dow...

Also NOTHING is as good as my Jungle King review Level four is the hardest part of the game, and so it should be as it is the last level. Ms King’s raspberry rippl...

Re: The Emulator - A New Fanzine - Coming Soon

Are there not some issues regarding emulators using copyrighted material (for example kickstart ROM on the Amiga)? The Amiga, the PSOne, The PS2 and any other device that needs a bios is subject to legal issues, but again there is nothing stopping people talking about them. I have no intention of p...

Re: The Emulator - A New Fanzine - Coming Soon

The emulation market is the big gaping hole in RG; but it's there for a good (legal) reason. Writing about emulation is fine as long as you are not linking to copyrighted materials (roms). Referring back to the abortion PCAction Emulate was under the Live years, they managed to legally publish a ma...

The Emulator - A New Fanzine - Updated 31/12/12

I have decided to give the idea of creating my own fanzine one last bash after getting all teary eyed at looking back on the 4 issues of RetroRevival that were produced back in 2004-2006 and wanting to get involved once more in something as good as that. The Emulator will be a digital based publicat...

Re: When an indie game review sparks the wrath of the develo

Say it as you see it Chip. Just remember the reason you started that blog was to allows others to hear YOUR opinions on games. If you deviate away from this on this piece or future pieces, it will all be for nothing. Either be true to yourself or don't bother mate. And f@ck everyone who disagrees. T...

Re: Do any PC magazines hold their value?

Ben, If you have the cover discs for them then they (as in the PC Gamers) fetch up to £10 a copy for the first five or so issues. I had the first few years in a complete set a few years ago and think I pulled in around £250 for the lot, but they were in excellent condition and had the covermounts to...

Re: Wanted: Amstrad Action Magazines

117 is the fan issue I believe, although I think you can still get it on LULU.

Oh and look out for issue 50, I had a letter printed in it! LOL
