Not an ex-employee, just like their early stuff. Infact my first issue of PCG that I bought (early 84) featured Forbidden Forest as their game of the month, since I saw that I was hooked!!

Defender of the Crown (AMIGA version), not only did it make me want the game, I coveted the Amiga also.

I just HAD to have them both.

And I did, but when I was 18 and courtesy of my barclaycard (much to the annoyance of my parents! :D ) I finally realised my dream!!!

April Fools

My first game on my trusty 64.....

Xmas 1983, Krystals of Zong.

Problem was it needed a joystick and my parents hadn't included one, had to wait a few days before the shops opened to get one!!!

Had to entertain myself with typing in the listings from the user manual....

Majority of deaths in Forbidden Forest, eaten by giant spiders, stung to death by bees, squashed by frogs, speared by skeletons, burnt alive by the dragon, dissolved by the giant snake.

All pretty gory (for the time).

Blowing up a planet in Captain Blood, this reminded me of the Nostromo in Alien biting the big one.

Quite impressive I thought.

Falling off the roof in Cauldron 2, the whheee noise, coupled with spinny view of the pumpkin, crowned with the witch cackle, genius!!
