Re: Videogames Hardware Handbook 1960 - 1977

Theres a book (Arcade Fever) which isnt bad and can be picked up cheap second hand on amazon. But a similar bookazine with a feature on so many classic arcade games all in one bo...

Re: Videogames Hardware Handbook 1960 - 1977

I'd certainly buy it - but I wonder if there would be enough material - an awful lot of these would be pong clones. A video games Hardware book on arcade machines would be something I'd love to see too.

Re: How about a Commodore 16 feature?

Issue 56 had my Retroinspection on the C16, and issue 113 had a minority report special. It's a subject (along with the Plus/4) I would be happy to revisit. Hi Merman - those were both great articles - my brother had a C16 so we played a lot (mostly Mastertronic) games on it for a while. It was an ...

That's a fantastic item. If the winner does share that would be great too.

Has the Bandersnatch/Psyclapse debacle been in RG?

Re: Greatest BBC Micro Games

Was there a topdown parachuting game? Have memories of playing that a lot. Otherwise I can only say Elite and Frak as they're my only BBC gaming experiences (our school had these weird RML micros)

Re: iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch game recommendations

I've got 6+ for work, so will be sneaking some games onto it. Was sad that Vector Tanks has gone - loved that back on my original iphone.

Anyone played the new q-Bert?

Re: Introducing The Amiga Book

Lovely book (bookazine) - could never afford the actual machine at school, but a friend had one, so I have some top notch Amiga memories. I also liked staring at the bouncing ball demo like kitten when I first saw it

Re: Playstation Vita games discussion thread

I picked up Natural Doctrine a few weeks back as I'd not seen it on the shelves before and it was quite cheap. Apart from that, I've not had much use from my Vita recently. (Trying to get thru all my PS+ games at the moment as I want to cancel that)

I still have a working original Psion Organiser. It doesnt do anything really - but I do like the design and was always interested in Psion products.
