Re: Can DAB radio be used to series record like TV PVR?

I have a Pure BUG radio that you can pause and rewind digital radio on. You can also schedule it to record programs to an SD card. They can be picked up fairly cheaply on eBay - that's where I got mine from anyway.

That's brilliant. I'm going to steal that if ever asked that question on any useless work training.

Re: New Rogue One Trailer

I thought Force Awakens was great. It feels like Star Wars - unlike the prequels - and for me ticks all the right boxes. Yes it basically retells episode if, but it does it so well I don't care. Phantom Menace though, there was a film that had a superb trailer, and on watching was a load of old pants.

Re: From The Forum issue 162 - Retro Gaming Woes

The cost. Fifteen years ago my Vectrex cost me £2 from a jumble sale, my Apple Mac 128k £10 from a local paper ad, and my boxed Colecovision £1 from the local tip. Nowadays I'd need a loan to buy them. Recently I was trying to buy a SNES to replace one I had bought and then sold in the mid-00's... m...

Re: Retro Gamer - Issue 160

I'll make that mental note never to comment in the feedback thread again unless I've only got positive feedback to report. And there it is… :D All 'constructive criticism is accepted. We can work with constructive criticism, we can't work with snide comments, you've been posting here long enough to...

Re: Retro Gamer - Issue 160

Are we supposed to have heard of "A hat in time"? Did I miss something? Please, enlighten me. Never heard of it either. Maybe it was there because they needed to fill a boxout for their 300 page Mario 64 spread, and nobody interesting or relevant to Mario 64 would talk to them. A hat in time is a g...

Re: Retro Gamer - Issue 160

I'm joking again. It was a good issue and I enjoyed it. Thank you to you and the RG team. Long may you continue in this new era. I'm assuming this is a 'joke' as well... No I meant this.it was absolutely sincere, sorry if you thought it was snide or something. I'm not sure why you are taking my adm...

PSP Wanted

Does anyone have an old PSP lying around they no longer want, and would sell for a reasonable price. I've been looking on eBay but they are all so dodgy on there. It's near impossible to get one that hasn't got a cracked screen, missing sticks, battery problems, non working buttons, UMD not working ...

Re: Retro Gamer - Issue 160

I said it was a good issue for me.... just not so much Mario next time please. Didn't mean to cause offence with my 300 pages comment. I of course realised it was not 300 pages long. It just felt like it.... I'm joking again. It was a good issue and I enjoyed it. Thank you to you and the RG team. Lo...

Ha ha... completely misread your comment. Sorry. Been a long day.
Super Mario World is indeed the greatest.

Re: Do you prefer Mario 2D or 3D games?

2D all the way.
I have hated the drive for 3D in Mario games. Don't like the gameplay mechanics personally. On top of that Mario Galaxy just made me feel sick with all that spinning and lurching around. The series has never bettered Super Mario World in my opinion.
