Re: Cube magazine

I'm almost glad that none of the ones posted are ones I'm missing as that would make things super awkward. Why's that? :? Because he's a new member? I'll help anyone if i can...you should know that by now. It's not that it's the fact that two people would want the same thing that would make it awkw...

Re: What Comics did you read as a kid?

I still have all the 1986 issues of Oink! comic, a genuinely funny type of Viz for the Beano crowd that wanted something a bit edgier. Also loved The Eagle from 82-87. One day I'll read through these old Eagle issues again. Good on you! :D Oink! still remains as my favourite comic of all time, not ...

Re: Cube magazine

I might have a couple floating around somewhere, you can have. Will have a look later. Cheers nokgod, appreciate it! Fightersmegamix, I did buy the occasional NGC, I think during the Wii's lifetime, but then when the Official Mag was restarted and Cube's Chandra and Martin were working on it I swit...

Re: Anybody remember The Barcode Battler

The Battler was responsible for sooooo many food tins lossing their labels in our cupboard. Meal times became... interesting  Everything in my home had holes in it because of this machine. For something which only had numbers on the screen it really did grab the attention of some of us. The bo...

Re: marvel uk

As a kid I much preferred Marvel UK over US. For example the Transformers comic in the US ran for 80 issues, here it was on sale fortnightly, then weekly, then fortnightly again and ran for a whopping 332 issues! All of the American stories were present but also the British creative teams then added...

Re: Your five favourite NES games...

Hmm this is tougher than I thought. 5 - Castlevania - I'd never played anything like this at the time! The whip concept meaning you had to get right up and close might seem so blasé these days but back then that and the exploration (I never played Metroid on the NES) sucked me in. 4 - Super Mario Br...

Cube magazine

This might be a long shot (actually, there's no "might" about it, it's a long shot!) but does anyone happen to know where I could purchase copies of the UK's Cube magazine? It was a brilliant GCN magazine I used to collect back in those days but I've only been able to find these sites, albeit they'r...

Re: Introduce yourself

Hi everyone, Well I've kind of given up on the new machines out there (though Lego City made me hang on to the Wii U for a few more months initially) and I've gone back to the two very favourite machines I ever had - the 3DO and the GameCube. I had a 3DO for about a year there but had to sell it on ...
