Re: What console do you want to see on the cover?

I voted for none of the above, even though I like the machines in question I feel that the milestone of 150 issues should have a very different type of cover and think it would be a bit dull to feature just one machine on the cover, any other issue....fine, but not a half century or century type iss...

Re: Systems that you had no interest in and still don't

PC's- For gaming they leave me cold and always have. Amstrad Cpc's- Never cared for them much either despite really trying to like them. Wii U- Despite loving the original Wii I have never had the remotest interest in its successor. BBC- Never had even the remotest interest in this system either, th...

Re: Sensible Soccer - consoles

I think Sensible Soccer on the SNES is a bit of an underrated gem and rarely gets a mention but it is perfect for the novice and plays a good game for the more experienced campaigner. The Amiga version remains the best in my view but the SNES version is a fine console adaptation.

Re: How about a Commodore 16 feature?

Fantastic post, I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. Perhaps someone at Retrogamer might like to consider getting you to do a piece. Surely any mag that can write a feature about the Acorn Electron (albeit an interesting one) should consider the 264 story worthy of being told. To me (inbred or not) I lo...

Re: Has anyone imported any kind of Retron system from the U

Got the Retron back to the UK used the step down converter and all is good, a little light buzz from the converter but that's normal and it doesn't overheat which is a bonus!

Re: Has anyone imported any kind of Retron system from the U

Cheers for the advice guys, I have gone ahead and ordered step down converter from Amazon in the UK and hopefully that will do the job. Believe it or not there is no voltage info on the bottom of the machine at all but the Psu which is a separate plug only mentions 110 volts.

Has anyone imported any kind of Retron system from the USA?

Pretty much as the title says really, have any of you imported any kind of Retron system from America? and if so did you use a step down converter to use it in the UK or could you use a universal adaptor or Psu from another Pal console? I am back from America soon and want to use my Retron without f...

Re: 1942 series

Totally with Nemesis on this, I love 1942 it's a pure shoot em up. 1943 is good but lacks something for me, in the case of these games less is more.

The only Neo Geo I owned was the Pocket which I loved but in some moment of lunacy traded....doh! I have only ever played the BIG Neo games via emulation but naturally enough I love the Metal Slug games.
