From The Forum issue 187 - Favourite SNK game

Hello everybody, I'm here to ask you a question about SNK. No, not Shingeki no Kyojin, the hit manga/anime series known as Attack On Titan that annoyingly dominates search results for SNK - I'm talking about the SNK that was founded as Shin Nihon Kikaku. You know, the company behind the Neo Geo cons...

Re: Backwards Compatability

Backwards compatibility is great, but as I keep my old consoles anyway, it doesn't tend to affect my purchasing decisions too heavily. If I get to have one fewer device set up, that's great - I'm generally happy to sacrifice a couple of minor features (a lack of PS1 link cable support on PS2/PS3, fo...

From The Forum issue 184 - Daytona USA

Good evening gang, I have returned to free your thoughts from the grey, fleshy vessel that carries them. That's right, it's From The Forum! This month, the question is: Which is the best song from the clearly brilliant Daytona USA soundtrack? If you need a refresher, check it out on YouTube - here's...

Re: Buying CD's

I can't make the move away from CD just yet, let alone owning my music. Some people are fine just paying for Spotify, but every so often I'll want to put on a specific album while writing and suddenly remember that it's not on there. Granted, this has a lot to do with my taste for obscurities - I wo...

Re: What anime are you watching thread

Currently going through Steins;Gate 0, which is remarkably gripping despite the fact that I already know what happens from the Vita game. Also, +1 for Aggretsuko - it's my favourite show of the year so far, animated or otherwise.

From The Forum issue 183 - Tetris: Best puzzler ever?

Hi all, it's from the forum time. This month, we're seeking your opinions on the following warm apple of the earth: Is Tetris the best block puzzle game ever? Of course, there's more to it than that. If it is, why - and what's the best version? If not, what would you rank above it? Personally, I hav...

Re: From The Forum 181_: Favourite Street Fighter game

I think Street Fighter Alpha 3 clinches it for me. The game design is mechanically rich and benefits from years of refinement, the character roster features lots of familiar faces, and the graphics are amongst the greatest seen in a 2D fighting game.

Good morning, if indeed it is morning where you are. We are back for our monthly visit, in which we request some memories/opinions from you. This time: What's your favourite Bitmap Brothers game? You remember the Bitmaps, of course - those guys with the sunglasses, who did games like Xenon 2, Speedb...
