Re: Tracking lateness

Same problem here in Finland. I hope the magazine arrives tomorrow because I would have liked to take it with me when I leave on Monday.

Re: RE: Free Subscription Incentives

However, the controller offer is open to existing subscribers, so there's no reason for you to miss out. Simply phone 0344 848 2852 and quote 8Bitdo and you'll be able to continue your sub. The deal is open to all existing subscribers as well as new ones and it's mentioned right at the bottom of th...

Re: Tracking lateness

I sense a major disturbance in the force, as issue #182 dropped in my mailbox today - which is almost too good to believe, as that's close to the time it took back in the golden Imagine days. Hopefully that positive trend keeps going... next up: will I receive the first issue of my new subscription...

Re: Tracking lateness

I've not seen #182 in Finland yet so I guess we're back in the normal long delivery time.

Re: Tracking lateness

Just got mine today. I hope this is not just a random glitch that it appeared so soon compared to the previous one.

Re: Fighting Fantasy

Tin Man Games have released Fighting Fantasy Classic on Steam to bring the classic gamebooks to our desktops. Bloodbones should be included as a freebie.

Re: Tracking lateness

We have control up until that point, once handed over to the postal provider we lose control. Those carriers then deliver into each territory and enter those copies into that country's postal system." Don't you have any service level requirements? Now the magazines seem to spend an extra 2-3 weeks ...

Re: Tracking lateness

I think that the European magazines are shipped to some country first as bulk and then from there to individual countries. The other change in addition to the huge delays is that there is no "return to sender" address in the plastic wrapper anymore. It used to point to the Netherlands earlier.

Mark is on holiday. He'll answer your questions when he comes back.
Is he still on holiday? It's been over two months and ZERO answers.

And no, I didn't get 180 yet to Finland. Ever since the change of publisher, the magazine has been here ONCE "on time", which is about two weeks after it's out.

And for the record at hand, my issue #180 arrived yesterday here in Sin City USA!
I expect my issue to arrive in about 2 weeks from today because I live so far away, on the other side of Europe  According to Google Maps, it would take 425 hours to travel here from Bournemouth by foot.

Re: Tracking lateness

I guess Future feels like we should be glad that they issues arrive at all, which they at least seem to do (just so veeery late!). I certainly don't see any signs that things are improving, which is a sad state of affairs. Fortunately the magazine doesn't get old even though it arrives very late. B...

Still waiting for 179 in Finland.
Ok, seems like I need to start complaining earlier as the magazine appeared today in my mailbox. Still a very poor performance, how can it take four weeks to travel across Europe? Just wait for Brexit..

I can confirm that I received the email and subscribing an extension worked fine this morning. I was happy to see that the quarterly extension is now also available outside the UK.

Re: From The Forum issue 176 - Favourite football game

Microprose Soccer on the C64, which Sensible Software made before the amazing Sensible Soccer. Banana kicks, rain storms, video replays, tournaments and a cracking six-a-side game to go with the traditional outdoor game. With Martin Galway's crazy music and crisp overlaid sprites, a truly great gam...
