Re: Nexus 7 tablet is fantastic at emulation!

Saving in DM works fine for me. The game asks for a save disk in C: but still saves normally and the game is resumable.

Re: Nexus 7 tablet is fantastic at emulation!

This week I finally fired up DosBox Turbo and ScummVM. Dungeon Master and Day of the Tentacle are still great and using the touchscreen works very well.

Re: Retro Gamer - Issue 127

I liked the cover, brings back a memory or two. We didn't have any arcades nearby but the local supermarkets had a few cabinets. Oh and I tried to find a Strider cabinet from the cover but couldn't   I never played Fairlight but maybe I should, it looks interesting. I would have liked to...

Has to be Pirates! on the C64. I've got loads of happy memories of playing it with a friend of mine. I tried playing it on WinVICE some time ago and it still had that something - for some reason I really did not like the reboot released a few years ago.

Re: Nexus 7 tablet is fantastic at emulation!

Re: Nexus 7 tablet is fantastic at emulation!

I'd like to fire up some old Championship/Football Manager games on an Android tablet. Is there any way to get those running?

Re: Retro Gamer Issue 121 Official feedback

Slightly OT, but anyone interested in the history of computer RPGs might find "Dungeons and Desktops" by Matt Barton also interesting.

Re: Retro Gamer Issue 121 Official feedback

His first comment to Andrew Hewson on that cover was "I'll kill you" He wrote quite a lot in the few Finnish computer magazines (regarding game design, reviews etc.) and seemed to be a very keen gamer himself. It really is sad that he passed away since the Finnish scene was quite small in ...

Re: Retro Gamer Issue 121 Official feedback

You definitely need to start using similar covers in the future. This one was the first one that my wife actually noticed when I was browsing through the pages first time on a lazy Saturday morning (I do tend to save the magazine for the weekend even if it arrives on Monday). Maybe it was the shiny ...
