Re: From The Forum issue 152 - Mega-CD Memories

It took me until 1995 to save up for mine , so i had plenty of time to check out which games were going to be any good , plus by then they were a lot cheaper and bundled with all sorts of games .

Re: Unsavoury Carboot incident.

Totally agree with you , i did a few car boots in 2013 , obviously games/consoles/computer gear was top of the vultures scavenge list , they were in my boxes like a fly on jam ! pushing n shoving , one guy stood at the back and was fairly patient looked and shrugged , i told him the truth - my wifes...

Re: From The Forum issue 149 - Controversies

Been covered before i think but some of the reviews magazines had. The infamous Zoids review by Crash, i loved Crash back then but that review really let me down, even as a kid i thought something strange was up. Had a great score and the game was dire] I mean they were quite honest giving their ow...

Re: PLAY Expo Manchester, EventCity, 10/11 October '15

Was going to write my own post - but apart from me and my lad going both days - psj's post just about sums it up for me , really enjoyed it this year , lots of vendors , some barely linked to gaming but still good to see the event growing . Arrrgh see thats whats annoying ! Not being able to meet u...

Re: PLAY Expo Manchester, EventCity, 10/11 October '15

I'm surprised people are mentioning how many vendors there were. In past years people have complained that Funstock or whoever seem to have the 'rights' to sell games and others cant. Thought the huge range of vendors were great from samurai swords, to tons of japanese stuff, american chocolates, r...

Re: Buying original spectrum games nowadays

:? C64 - 17 million Spectrum - 5 million Atari 400/800/XL/XE 2.5 million Is 2.5 about the same as 5? Not really. To he fair it's not about sales really. Or which machine is technically superior. As far as the UK is concerned, no Atari machine was competition for the c64 or Spectrum.. Full stop.[/quo...

Re: The price of retro

i always find sometimes thats its cheeper to buy old games in the wild then it is on ebay for the stuff that i want but i just get this feeling that gamers are getting a bit fed up of prices for modern and retro games i mean some are just not worth the money people and shops are asking for and well...

Re: Sinclair ZX Spectrum Vega - Indiegogo campaign

Nintendo know that a large percentage of New 3DS users are upgrading from an earlier DS model and hav...
