Re: Dire games you HAVENT played but......

Mancman - PlayStation Power gave Iznogoud 2% and both those percentage points were awarded for the disc starting up first time! BTW the title comes from the original cartoon. As for me - gotta be Plumbers Don't Wear Ties! Ah, didn't know it was based on a cartoon series. Guess it never really had m...

Re: Dire games you HAVENT played but......

I always wanted to play a game on the PS1 call 'Isnogoud', get it? All I remember is it being what seemed like a really bad platformer and some dude on a magic carpet. I remember thinking the developers must be really taking the pi$$ if they expect people to buy a game even they, themselves know is ...

Re: Retro Gaming T Shirts?

Ok, seeing a lot if positive posts here.

Think I've decided on a CPC one that caught my eye. Pretty basic, it has the Amstrad keyboard and monitor on the front.

I just hope that C64 and Speccy retro fanboys don't point and laugh. Flashbacks to my school playground already!

Retro Gaming T Shirts?

My wife asked me today what do i want for father day to which i replied a retro gaming themed t-shirt, to which she frowned and said "really?" She then got me thinking would i actually wear it and if so, when would i wear it? Come to think of it i don't ever recall seeing anyone wearing retro gaming...

Re: Speccy VS C64 VS CPC

I remember hearing a machine talk for the fist time on my mates C64. Repton 5, if I remember correctly would voice the title at some point. Maybe after the ten minute load. Speech always slows down loading, even phonetic routines like the one used on Repton 3 but the disk version takes less than a ...

Re: Speccy VS C64 VS CPC

To be honest, never really understood the fascination with the Speccy. With all those 3 colours clashing and what not. My cousin owned one and the only game I remember that stood out was Robocop, which in itself was a poor second to the excellent Amstrad version. C64 was a decent machine though, can...

Power Drift on the CPC was excellent. So was Chase HQ, Stunt Car Racer, Super Sprint, Turbo Esprit and Grand Prix Simulator by Codemasters.

Re: Amstrad CPC game released on Sega Mega Drive

I remember the first time I fired this up me old green screen and if I remember correctly a little news flash comes up about a newly discovered tomb being found in Egypt and I excitedly told my mum about how my new cpc would give you news bulletins. Thought I was connected to the Internet before it ...
