I turn 40 this year, so a few years off retiring. Also, my wife says I make cardigans look cool.

Re: Old TV shows that no one you talk to remembers.

Automan, youtube and embrace it's greatness. Also one I can't remember the name of myself and its been bugging me for years, really. It was about a guy who would gain superpowers by looking at the sun, his eyes would change colour if I remember correctly. I don't think it lasted very long because of...

Cartoon conversions

Would just like to throw an idea out there. I would love to see an article on cartoon conversions, don't recall seeing one before. I'm sure most of the members here are children of the 80's and i'm sure we all loved our cartoons back then, cartoons were much more watchable back then, my kids watch A...

It wasn't actually the btcc, it was the Australian V8 series. I spent a few years there and worked for Perkins Engineering race team.

Re: whats your job?

I'm a spray painter, cars etc. Have been for the past 20 years and guess I'm doing well. At the top of my game now and earning real good money but to be honest I'm bored of it now and long for something more personnel and creative. Is there no scope for you to do custom paint jobs, the proper ones ...

Re: Your Most Iconic Amazing Moment of all time

That "tears in rain" speech at the end of Bladerunner. Still moves me to this day. I was only 15 when I first saw that scene and it made me realize that life isn't forever, we only get one life to experience things so make the most of it. Totally agree with you there, you are litratly sat on the ed...

We Need To Talk About Kevin

Not a cheerful film but I've not stopped thinking about it since I watched it last night.

Re: jxd s7800b

When i attended Play Expo last month I went to the fun stock stall to buy myself one only to be told they had sold out, so I went home empty handed. However, by chance I found one on eBay and managed to get it for 70 quid. Had it a week or so now bit not used it much, wasn't too impressed with the e...

Re: Retro Gamer and the Amstrad CPC 464

The Amstrad had its own personality and some great exclusive games. Not going to reel them all of here, it's been done before. The ST was always behind the Amiga in every way and had no identity. Oh yes, you could get it to sing but, meh. Again, totally subjective. I struggle to think of a computer...

Re: Retro Gamer and the Amstrad CPC 464

I completely understand this from a sale points of view - I kind of mentioned this in the original post that it may be holding it back. I've been lurking around for a while and thought blimey there are hardly any CPC folks around here. Or are they all hoping someone else starts a thread about it an...
