Got my GP2X and am so happy

Hi everyone, I wanted to share my joy with everyone. Last week I received my GP2X from http://www.gp2x.co.uk and its amazing. Even though alot of the software/emulators are still in beta mode they work a treat. Here's what I'm playing at the moment: Sega Megadrive (Full speed with sound) PCEngine (F...

Inspired by Retro Gamer Article

Hi all, After reading the article on the "Complete low down on Leisure Suit Larry", I have decided to start coding a conversion of the classic game "Softporn" originally from the Apple II by Chuck Benton to the Commodore C16/Plus 4. Progress is going well and have most of the code in place, so hopef...

I was always tempted to buy a Sam Coupe, but never got round to it. They seem such a interesting machine. Maybe I'll try and grab one on ebay someday.

Plus 4

Sam Coupe - Could have been so successful if marketed correctly
Atari ST - My second computer after the C16

Back in the days I typed in alot of listings for the C16, quite a few worked without glitches. These days I just scan them into my pc as a text file then convert them to a program using Winvice's Petcat. Oh it makes like so much easier :P Btw, we have a magazine listings section on the website for t...

Hi, A outstanding issue. The mag was good read and I couldnt put it down till I read it from cover to cover. I thought this section was really good. GamesTM have tried to do this, but looks like you guys have gone the extra mile. You seem to have most retro machines in there, even my baby the C16/Plus 4. Have you thought about adding the C116, one of the rarest of the range?

Well done :D
