Re: Turbografx games
I remember eying off a PAL console that Liksang were selling, back when they were around (Thanks $(&$(# SONY!!) The problem with the TG16 is the lack of AV output. You have to buy a seperate "Turbo Booster" to give it AV output. The problem is, I can't get the TG16 to tune in properly (it kinda does...

Re: Best Disney Games on console?
I always liked the Capcom Mickey Mouse trilogy on SNES. Sadly the 3rd one was Japanese only, but the other 2 are easy to get ahold of in PAL or US NTSC.

Re: Saturn 4mb Action Replay Cart Questions
A couple of Capcom's 4 Meg fighters will have problems running in 50Hz. Vampire Saviour, SF Zero 3 and X-men Vs Street Fighter all have slight sound problems which aren't gamebreaking just rather irritating. Marvel Super Heroes Vs SF has both severe graphical and sound problems making it pretty unp...

Re: Sega Sc-3000 & Sharp Mz-700
I know of a place that sells brand new SC3000s in their box. It's a little shop in Adelaide, South Australia called Games4All. Details are here:

Re: Barcode Battlers
I'm sure I read somewhere that either: 1) Only the Japanese version had the expansion port for the Nintendo interfaces, or 2) Only the Japanese version had a WORKING expansion port for the Nintendo interfaces I could be wrong, but I'm not willing to take a chance considering I live across in Austral...

Re: Barcode Battlers
The Japanese had the right idea letting you connect them to consoles. I have one but I couldn't get it to work. I blogged about it here: http://retrospekt.com.au/post/266023966/in-retrospekt-super-famicom-barcode-battler-interface I'm still trying to get ahold of another barcode battler, but if some...

Game Over for the Amstrad CPC. Why has no one else mentioned this one yet?
Yes it's a loading screen, but it deserves to be mentioned

Opinions on a review
Apologies if this is against the rules or anything. A friend of mine created this review for Super Star Wars. Now it's not safe for work due to language, & I personally think the language could be seen as over the top but I wanted opinions from other retro gamers in the community. Would you want to ...

Re: What have YOU found in collections you've bought?
I was given a Megadrive with a bunch of games from a friend who had no more room for it being that he was a modern gamer. Inside the box of stuff was a mint condition copy of Shining Force 2. Boxed with book.

Re: From the Forum question for issue 74
The Battlestation 2, which was a giant controller with 2 joysticks setup arcade style. Obviously it was designed with Street Fighter 2 in mind. It worked with the SNES, MD & computers of the day.

Re: New Vs Old - Tatunoko Vs Marvel
I have to say I was never a big fan of the Capcom "vs" series. I did enjoy the cross overs with SNK, but they didn't have crazy high jumps which was the big thing that put me off. I always thought being able to jump that high allowed people to be too evasive. That being said, I bought Tatsunoko vs C...
