Re: Subs Department Epic Failure

So I got a "time to renew your sub" mail. Looking up my user at the web site only shows an EDGE sub. Cue mail to subs. *Crickets* So it's just an automated mailing system without anyone really reading the mail? Let me be positive here for once: I got mail back from subs. After a follow-up mail they...

Re: Retro Gamer - Issue 191

I thought this might cheer up the crew: For once I plan to read the main feature first! (My reading stack is nicely stocked at the moment though.)

Re: Tracking lateness

#191 elected to grace me with its presence today. No re-mailer info, apart from "Orangepost" with a Norwegian address. Possibly a tad late.
EDIT: Local newsagent has it already. (I.e. 7th)
EDIT2: EDGE #330 arrived 15th.

Re: Thank you so much for your great magazine!...

The Powers That Be might ponder upon this: It has been many many issues since the first thing I read upon opening the magazine was the main story.

Re: Tracking lateness

(BTW, I got Edge (#329) today too.) (W? T? F? I just read EDGE when I find it in my mailbox, so I'm not paying _that_ close attention, but today #328 arrived. After #329. Wrong order, you know. Shipped via a re-mailer in Praha. How is it even possible to mess up something so bad Future?) (EDIT: #32...

Re: What grinds your gears ?

Stuff that works 98%. Stuff you can't figure out why is failing. Case in point: My A4000D that wont work with gfx cards (it can see the config), wont work with the combo of all motherboard SIMMs and my A3640 card, and which will typically stop working after an hour or so of use. It needs a proper Ch...

Re: Did I miss the Winter isssue or...?

13 is easy enough as 52 is a multiple of it. Which meant that Back In The Day (i.e. like when you still called it C&VG) the 13th issue was called Christmas. For those that gave month names to their issues. Wasn't the Christmas issue typically the biggest and bestest of the year? (I'd expect many had...
