Re: Bookazines / Specials

I looked around but didn't see an obvious answer, so... what is the status of RG bookazines with the move to Future? I noticed they are no longer available at the Imagine site, and only the N64 and SNES books are available at the Future site. Will these continue to be produced by Future? Will any pr...

Retro Volume 9.
Which reminds me to ask this... what is Retro? Is it basically the same thing as Retro Gamer Collection but for GamesTM? Worth getting in addition to a Retro Gamer subscription, or redundant? (limited shelf space and all that) Thanks!

Re: Bookazines / Specials

How is the digital version nowadays? I don't like proprietary readers that may mean I lose access to the issues in the future. PDF is best, as that format is unlikely to go away anytime soon, but I don't think these are available in that format.

Re: Bookazines / Specials

Imagine has some terrific online Bookazine specials at the moment. I went to get the Sega book but bought the '80s Sci fi bookazine instead as it was 1.99! So will have to head back and get the Sega one in a couple of weeks, stock permitting :) The sales are nice, except the international shipping ...

Re: Bookazines / Specials

Is there any content in the bookazines that has not already appeared in the magazine? To somewhat answer my own question... I compared some articles from past issues to recent bookazines, and indeed the content is almost identical. There are occasionally some cosmetic changes to layout, but that is...

Re: Bookazines / Specials

Hey folks, I am thinking about picking up a few of the latest bookazines. I am a subscriber, owning every Retro Gamer issue starting with #101. However, I live in the US, where is it hard to find the bookazines regularly, and it is relatively expensive to order online, especially with the shipping c...

Thanks for the confirmation. Could you ask them which retailer they used? I have a few of places I could try, but it would help to narrow it down.

Re: RG Atari bookazine

Does this bookazine include the entire contents (or part?) of the issues #103 Atari material? I have that issue, and I wondering how much will be redundant. Thanks!

Bookazine availability in the USA?

Hey folks, I looked for an answer to this earlier, but didn't find one. Are there retailers in the USA that carry the Retro Gamer bookazines, like the new Atari book? I know Barnes & Noble carries the magazine, but I don't think I have ever seen the bookazines there. Perhaps Microcenter or Fry's Unf...
