Re: Retro Gamer Issue 109 Official Feedback

The Half-Life piece has been taken directly from GamesTM, hasn't it?

Re: Less "repeats", more indepth information.

I think there's truth in that, although I think for me I'd skew your second point a bit. I'm certainly more interested in the history than playing these titles any more, but it's more about finding out about how and why creative decisions were made, in the same way as finding out about the dawn of ...

Re: Game Gadget - How to improve it

Guys Andy said he will use here to reply and not use the GG forums. Now you want him to reply here. We need to decide what you want. Here or GG forums? Yeah, fair enough. As I have no intention of registering an account over there, if anybody wants to post my question for Andy to respond to, please...

Re: Game Gadget - How to improve it

This thread is bewildering. Not a single, tangible thing has been provided in this thread other than vapid PR spin. And it *is* PR spin, whatever way you want to try and cut it. Sure, Andy has come here to try and turn public opinion (which is at least a start), but still hasn't been able to provide...

Re: Official Feedback Issue 105

It doesn't really say that much about the machine that of the 10 best ST exclusives you picked, half of them came out long after the machine was commercially-dead.

Re: It begins...

You love to point post don't you. We are clearly never going to see eye to eye on this issue however I have to make one very strong point. You have mixed up morality with criminality they are 2 very different things. Morality is subjective and a personal opinion, criminality is absolute. Exce...

Re: Retro Fusion Magazine IndieGOGO campaign

Ok, now I could be missing something here, but you want $6,000 to help fund the next 3 issues, right? As you say (and I don't dispute) the biggest cost is printing -fair enough. So why are you are only offering a total of 21 printed copies as perks (of only one issue, despite wanting funding for 3)?...

In what crazy world could the Fallout games ever be considered loot drop games?

Combat, the bi-planes in particular: killing my brother with a shot whilst hidden in the clouds never got old.

D&H Games. Giving me a plethora of football-management titles to spend an unhealthy amount of time on.

Re: Is this really the best you can do?

^ Can't remember the issue, but the guys who made Sundog were covered in some depth iirc. Sorry I can't be more specific, my memory stinks. Are you sure? I know Dungeon Master has been covered but I don't recall ever seeing anything particular about FTL (and a quick glance on the RG issue contents ...

Re: Is this really the best you can do?

What would be nice would be coverage of the [insert platform of choice] that isn't a list feature.

As for the ST, something about Sundog would be interesting.

Re: Official Feedback Issue 100 + Issue 1

It's good that Martyn took that as a compliment but for everybody that's likened issue 1 to a "fanzine" it's sounded more like a backhanded compliment at best and an insult to the original mag at worst. A pathetic downward glance at the tired, old original and a big smug "look at us", "look how muc...

Re: Official Feedback Issue 100 + Issue 1

On the topic of facts, lets not forget that the old RG didn't fold. It was brought down by a publishing house that extended into other magazines too far, too quickly. The company folded but if what we've been told is correct, RG was one of its flagship titles that continually profited and supported...

RG - a magazine that truly celebrates the wonderful divisiveness of gaming.

Hope to see a similar thread in another 7 and a half years!
