Snooker/pool games

It's Masters time baby! I love my snooker and I love watching it. I also loving playing various snookers games! the best (so far) being the 360 ones, very good indeed but I find there are a lot of others throughout gaming. Which are your favourite snooker games on what systems? I like the MAME pool ...

Re: Are there double standards on this forum

Another forum I frequent has a 'thin ice' system, where a member (I assume) is warned and is shown as on 'thin ice' for a set amount of time. This would be an option on here so people could see when they are close to 'perceived to be' causing trouble. Then again, it would be useless for as long as a...

Re: Are there double standards on this forum

Now then, Beans and Clarence are continuing things from at least a couple of separate threads in this thread, and both have posted things that could be considered 'report' worthy in the aforementioned threads yet neither (to my knowledge) has received a ban, tying in nicely to this thread about doub...

Re: Are there double standards on this forum

Somedays I think we should all just rent a UFC cage and have it all out in one big fight How would that solve anything? and what does it have to do with double standard on this forum? It has something to do with the comment I quoted Again (much like the other thread) @Dprinny - I still don't really...

Re: Is there bullying/steamrolling on this forum?

'We' is everyone posting in the thread - and the point I'm making, is that the rules are very loose and open to interpretation. If someone wants any thread shut down they can usually find something in the AUP that has been broken, from a certain point of view. My post wasn't at you, it was more a p...

Re: Are there double standards on this forum

Dprinny, in a post you have a picture (again I assume some sort of comedy gold) and THEN a post about getting back on topic? In the same post? AND about reporting things off topic? Could that be double standards/hypocrisy right there? Are you also trying to dump this thread? Like the other? Genuine ...

Re: Is there bullying/steamrolling on this forum?

Dprinny, do you think the posts you have made in this thread are just to cause trouble? maybe start a fire which eventually will burn the thread out? Do you think the posts are in anyway linked to what the thread is about? I mean, I'm sure you can/will say that you genuinely didn't understand about ...

Re: Is there bullying/steamrolling on this forum?

we've probably broken forum rules already. Now this is VERY important, if we have? just why have we? and who is we? Me being the OP? or just the posts deemed offensive/rule breaking? OR is it EVERYONE who responded in the thread? OR everyone who even voted? Or just those who are deemed not to be co...

Re: Are there double standards on this forum

This is getting a bit silly..... Why is that? I'm genuinely interested in what is silly? Well, what with this thread and the one about bullying, there's a high probability that it will turn into some kind of bun fight. Should increase site traffic if nothing else though. However, I will doff my hat...

Re: Are there double standards on this forum

This is the thing, I don't even think about the report button before I press post, ever. I also don't know of any posts that have been reported (even though they obviously have) .... so do some members get told about posts they've had reported then? I have found that my (alleged offensive) posts are...

Re: Is there bullying/steamrolling on this forum?

Lets see how long this thread lasts :) How do you mean? Derailing? Bullying? Mods stepping in? Do you think this is an inapproriate thread? or do you just think some members will think so and those members in conjunction with their intimate knowledge of the moderating system will have the thread cl...
