Re: Are others getting frequent site time outs?

I've had it out most of today, I even tested my phone via 4g (I normally always use laptop as it's a sod to see stuff on phones) and same result.
Maybe it's time to poke whoever runs the site's host with a stick and see whats making it iffy.

Are others getting frequent site time outs?

Last couple of days I've been getting connection timeouts when I try to access the forum, I know my internet access is otherwise fine so I wanted to know if others are getting the same?

Re: Is the forum in decline?

Strangely the only thing I don't really do on FB is Retro games, mine just tends to be all Car stuff or Photography, I stay away from Marketplace as it's not really a protected service and anything pickup I now need help for.

Re: What grinds your gears ?

Thing is I essentially live in a box room so theres few places things could go but yet stuff just seems to go into the ether, it's been made a little worse on occasion where able bodied family members have gone in to fix something and then decide to help more and put stuff under my bed to store it,...

Re: What grinds your gears ?

Todays grind, Stuff going missing. My sights getting a bit blurry so went to try and find my Casio watch as it displays a bit bigger and its almost as if someone ate it, I even lifted the mattress up to look under the bed which was a rather stupid thing to do as its just made my already bad back wo...

Re: What grinds your gears ?

 Oops! Sorry. I don't understand much of the Northern dialect anyway. Just wait until you ask what a Parmo is, the looks I got were not unlike those you'd give to someone who just drop kicked a Puppy into a wood chipper. Is Parmo a northern thing? It's Middlesbrough area of the North east, bas...

American lol? No, from north east England. No one says anything else round these parts lol. Bob, yeah I managed to get one in Clinton's thanks. Oops! Sorry. Re: What grinds your gears ?

I was going to say, my Mrs often pronounces Mum as Mam, she does spell it as Mum though.
Maybe have a word with one of the card shops, they might be able to get one in or find you a branch with them, otherwise yeah Moonpig or Funky Pigeon.

Re: GBA/GBA SP backlit screen mod

I bought a DSL to play my GBA carts on, it does the job and brilliantly of course, but the cart sticking out the bottom does my OCD in Lol. The added bonus is getting DS games for it too I suppose, but I do miss the sleek GBA, SP and micro. I loved my Micro but my old eyes didn't ! I did like my ol...

Re: What grinds your gears ?

I'd take it back and complain, it's probably been left out back too long on delivery I did actually go back in with it and moan for a replacement earlier, still couldn't have a cuppa last night though  We keep a carton of UHT in the cupboard for milk emergencies. Handy when you come back from ...

Re: What grinds your gears ?

I've always got the Coffee machine for backup, alright its the dried stuff but it tastes nice enough and foams well for when I want a Cappucino. Todays grind is yet again my flipping body and meds, I swear it knows I want to get on with something and then makes the world spin and me need to pee seve...

Re: Lets talk about vinyl

Never noticed this thread before, I've got boxes of the things from hunting at car boots and charity shops but its time for most of them to go, stuff like Maiden, Blue Oyster cult a some of the vintage Rock N Roll will be sticking around (including the banned GnR AoD cover) but otherwise it's proba...
