Re: Something I need to say and some advice needed

Can't say you were ever that annoying. I remember you sounding a fuck-load younger though. I joined the forum at 16, I'll be 29 in August, thats probably why  I don't know, all I know was I read back what I'd said and I was horrified, I'd have given me a slap based on some of what I came out w...

Re: Just found a load of 1989 - 1990 Kerrang and Metal Hammer mags

I'm not old enough to go back that far as I was born in 90 but I do have some MH mags for Maiden stuff although I've stopped now, mostly for me I tended to get mags related to my transport so I went: Mountain Biking UK Classic American/ Practical classics (Have a Humber and wanted a MK2 Escort as my...

Re: Retro Game Repair?

Its do-able, you need a good low cost parts source though if you do more common stuff like Nintendo and Sega units. In terms of resale though you need to do your research, private sales are unaffected but business sales can have extra requirements, for instance here in the UK mains powered devices a...

Re: Did you ever have to call a gaming helpline - and if so why?

I've only ever called the once, my Half life 2 key was dodgy and in my case they didn't help much.

I did however text the Game Guru a couple of times (was a character on a show called Gamesville who suppisively lurked in a dingy attic) sadly never got my pleas of help on TV.

Re: PS4 on Credit?

I wouldn't unless you gain something extra from it, like cover or something like that.
With devices usually by time the plans up its worth significantly less and you're stuck paying for it even if you no longer have or use it and is part of the reason I stopped doing device contracts for my phone.

Something I need to say and some advice needed

Recently I've gone back to model making as I can't do a lot now so I've been sorting out my resources including putting Photoshop on the current Laptop to do image sizing and editing, I had to search back through old posts though to figure out how to get it working and its brought me to an extra bit...

Re: Favorite Video Game TV Commercial

Not so much retro but FH3 made the hairs on my neck stand up when I saw it in the Cinema, the cover of wicked game on it is probably what sold it.

Re: Today

Today or should I say the early hours of I bought my first pot of play doh in about 25 years and made a couple of test pieces to see if it works for my scale stuff. I'd also meant to start sorting the house to find some stuff to bring money in until I get a verdict on where I stand in terms of heali...

Snuck out as I needed some bits and broke down, think the poor thing knows it's going to sleep for a while soon.
Pains been a little worse today as I think I've made the tear worse.

Yeah that's it and I feel daft for not googling.

Now I just need to fettle with an emulator and hopefully get it running.

Trying to remeber a game that I saw on Youtube

I remember watching it one one of those Outside Xbox/xtra vids but I can't even remember which of those it was all I remember was it was Amiga and had Robinson in the title. Looked quite intriging as it was a survival game played from a first person viewpoint and used FMV clips when interating with ...

Re: Buying CD's

I'm the polar oppisite to my age group, I hate downloads and prefer a physical copy as I'm always of the mind set of what happens if its lost by accident and the service has gone tits up. I'll use youtube sometimes like a jukebox when I'm at home but I'm usually driving when out and the M3 has an un...

Re: How Far Behind in the Magazine Issues Are You?

I've got piles apon piles of still sealed mags upstairs, I did try to cancel it a while back as I just don't get to read the mag that much anymore and I'd be better off just picking it up from Tesco's when I fancy a dip.
