Re: An Ebay Refund Question

Rule of thumb (for me anyways) - I do not EVER post an item outside the UK without it being sent Signed For International. If the item costs £5 or less, then I will post it standard airmail if the buyer has a 100% feedback record and does not want to pay more for the postage than the item itself.

Re: Toejam and Earl DC code found.....

The original Gensis/MD game was cool, quirky and lots of fun. The sequel, less so.

TJ&E3 on the Xbox is rather boring, so if the DC version is almost the same as the Xbox version, it wasn't really a loss that it didn't get made.

Re: Bitmap Brothers - Your Favourite Game

I liked Speedball 2 the most...I think.

If not that then it is definately Chaos Engine, it's just a shame it gets rather hard, and imo, unfairly so at times. Liked Gods too, but again it could be very punishing.

Re: who fancys Blaze out of Streets of Rage

If there had been a Facemash of both Blaze and Tyris Flair, Tyris whould have won by the proverbial country mile.

She wears a bikini, she is therefore the winner by default, ala Princess Leia and Ursula Andress in James Bond.

Re: How Video Games Changed The World

Don't forget that Mortal Kombat (the newest one) is still banned in three countries (iirc) But this is when I think censorship, especially censorship dictated by various political outlets is very wrong. Thankfully, where I come from we have an ammendment that stops the Government and politicians fro...

Re: How Video Games Changed The World

another way to decide is looking at the timeframe, which game that did get covered would you take off the list to put mario Kart in? Night Trap would be the obvious candidate. I'd take that off the list and leave five minutes of static, even. :D Seriously, it wasn't presented as a list of the most ...

Re: Really good Turbo Outrun home conversions?

I can't believe Sega has never re-released the other Outrun games such as Turbo, Outrunners, Europa etc. If they did a digital compilation pack of all the arcade Outrun games then I'd snap it up! C'mon Sega, make it happen :) Seconded I played Turbo Outrun on the MD and it pales in comparison to it...

Re: Why did Sega have to leave the hardware race?

Having people like Tom Kalinske and Bernie Stolar making all the wrong decisions and destroying Sega's reputation in their biggest market didn't exactly help. Wow you are so wrong. Tom Kalinske only made TWO big mistakes - The SEGA/MEGA CD and the 32X. They were both his ideas and they failed miser...

Re: Breakout-style games

I'm a huge fan of Arkanoid even though I secretly despise it when I'm playing. I try and play it via emulation but it just loses something without the trackball. Is Revenge of Doh or the SNES one any good? Still not tried them yet. And if they feature annoying boss battles, I probably won't be bothe...
