Re: Game Gear Recommendations

You simply have NO excuse for not owning GG Shinobi! Inspired level design (you can take them on in any order) - all the ninjas have different capabilities and the soundtrack is on my iPod - it's aces.

Re: Does anybody find the current-gen consoles...

A tad overrated? I've got both a 360 and P3, but it seem's as if it just rehashes of the same game over and over again (Call Of Duty, FIFA, PES etc) or FPS dominates the game shelves or that new titles are just lacking in something. It's as if it style over substance these days, Amazing graphics, a...

I too got a SPAM PM from a know-user on this forum the other day - wes very annoyed by it. BTW, if said person is reading this message - don't EVER PM me again - you are NOT a moderator, and I don't like being dictated too.

Re: New Star Trek

I was randomly thinking about the re-booted Star Trek today (watched it on F4 the other day and thought it was great) - I then went to IMDB to read up on the trivia - JESUS - have you seen how long the trivia section is for it!!!! I wonder if the will ever do a film with the Borg in it - my personal...

In years to come......... How will the PSP GO be remembered?

I'm still amazed that SONY had the balls to launch this handheld - they MUST have known about the backlash they would get from retailers, especially retailers that sell 2nd hand games Was it a bold, innovative move on their part - trying to get gamers into the whole digital download market Or was th...

Re: GamesMaster

The one perfect thing about Gamesmaster was the casting of DD - I can't think of anyone from around that time who would have suited it better.

As for Dexter Fletcher - no, no, NOOOOOOOOOO. I would rather have seen Trevor McDonald or Philip Schofield hosting.

Re: Renting videotapes

I was talking about this with my mates earlier - I'm sure most people here used to rent videos in the 80s? Never mind video shops like Video City (and of course Video City II!!), even my local sweetshop and newsagent would rent videos out! A combination of my age, new technology and lack of informa...

Re: What Films/TV Have you Watched Recently?

I watched more of 'Homeland'(season 2). It was okay, but the second season doesn't seem that good so far. I then watched 'Max Payne' - the movie. Okay, it was a rather generic action film with overtones from the game, but if you switch your brain off and go along with it then it was okay. I think H...
