Re:

I was an on-off Crash re...

Loads of good games there ... I tried hard to think of other ones ... how's about: Switchblade 2 (action) Bloodnet (cyberpunk with vampires graphic adventure) Shadow Fighter (best Amiga BEU) Payback (GTA 1 - but on the Amiga) BC Kid (Bonk's Adventure from the PC Engine, now on Wii's VC) Alien Breed ...

Two which spring to mind for me are Lotus 3 (Amiga) and XTreme Racing (Amiga).

Almost on the same theme is Skidmarks (Amiga), which could let you design your own vehicles in the 3D rendering app Imagine, IIRC.

I've downloaded two VC games - Bonk's Adventure (aka PC Kid, which was released in the UK as I've got the Amiga version) and Donkey Kong Country.

Both are platformers and were picked as the other half likes 2D style platform games.

My choice is a Wii. It's something different, can play my GC games and isn't just 'more of the same but with better graphics'. I've already got a DSLite which my other half is hogging playing Brain Training & Nintendogs so I bought I white PSP. Why? All the arcade compilation UMD's; already got the ...

The One That rings a bell, but I can't remember why. IMO The One was useless. Not quite as useless as Amiga Action, though The One certainly had its' moments. My favourite, departed, mags were: 1. Your Sinclair 2. Amiga Format 3. ACE (before it was bought by EMAP) 4. Amiga Power now I just read Ret...

My experiences are quite the reverse. The people that know me know I'm into retro gaming (esp Spectrum & Amiga games) and even though they're into the latest Elder Scrolls game (which one was v disappointed with) they don't knock the fact I enjoy a good game of Pang. Loaded by tape. (or .tap file) :D
