I like the fact you compare me to the media. I was thinking of being a journalist! Even if that means missing the point...I'll do it!

Retro Exams - When they were difficult

Anyone else sick of hearing, year after year, of how more and more pupils got "A-plus-star-plus-es" for just turning up and chewing gum for two hours? In my day exams were 'ard and there were no grades higher than an "A". ...and what are all these rubbish subjects? What the hell is "Critical Thinkin...

ISO image reader software question

Can anyone tell me what is the best (pref. free) bit of software available for accessing the files in .ISO disk images without having to burn the image? I tried a free trial one a while back but it would only access a small portion of the files in the image.

Cheers,

I have finally got my picture in a magazine! I am on page 12 in the Retro Fusion picture - I am on the far right playing on a Neo Geo wearing a denim jacket (me, not the console). Yes!...

Haven't really had a good look at the magazine yet, but the Starfox article looks good...

We bought Lost in Translation for a fiver in Asda at the weekend. Not watched it yet. Resist! You will NEVER be able to get back those two hours! NOTHING happens in the entire film, and I mean NOTHING! It looks fantastic, but that's about it. I usually like films that try to do something a bit diff...

ZX Spectrum + Question

Can anyone remember the exact month the Spectrum plus was released? I know it was 1984-ish but I want to know the month (or even better, the exact day, if you know it). Also, does anyone remember when the Spectrum plus upgrade kits were made available? I presume it was just after the Spectrum plus w...

Correction, AMERICAN history... For an "American gameroom"... God bless America. (Ships worldwide).

I like the way it refers to games rooms as if they are standard!

Nice piece of kit though! Great game too.

Retro Game Tunes Stuck in your Head

I often find myself whistling or humming old game tunes without realising that I am doing it. Sometimes I cannot even remember what the tune is for a while. There must be stacks of these annoyingly catchy tunes floating round in my head, and I didn't even have a C64. To name a few highlights, they i...
