I never attempted any of the football ones myself. I did complete the Empire Strikes Back and the ET sticker albums though. Unfortunately, I think they were both thrown out about 20 years ago or more.

Sounds like a great weekend! I couldn't make it anyway. I did enjoy last December's though. I hope there will be more in the future!

If he ownes the original, doesn't that mean it would be legal for him to obtain the rom data/file? Granted, the website may be illegal though.

Great collection of mags. I have fond memories of a few of those too. Nice bit of laminate flooring.

Anyone used to buy "Big K" (or "Special K" or whatever it was - definately involved "K" in the title)?

Re:

What? Are you going to be so pedantic and officious to state that this is an incorrect usage of the word 'literally' ? Dictionary definitions are ultimately only guidelines . At the end of the day, communication is the prime factor to consider, and if people know what you mean then to me, that over...

For that price you get ...[text removed]... and a free copy of 'Wii Sports.'
For £179, considering the specs of the machine, I wouldn't call the game "free"!

Remember that bloke trying to sell the Spectrum version of Moonwalker for £500 a while back? That was a laugh. It couldn't possibly be worth that without the poster in it...

Now this is a "meet", will there be any arcade cabs and pinball machines? If so, how many?

A mate of mine was the first in our group to graduate from a Spectrum by buying a SEGA MASTER SYSTEM (mainly to play Out Run). I thought the Master System and Out Run and were a bit crap.

Later, after he bought loads more crappy arcade ports, he got Fantasy Zone. I was impressed with that.
