Re: Gamecube - your favourite title and collecting

So my 1080p upscaler came! I plugged my S-Video cable in and got a stripey test screen, but with audio. Bolloks! I plugged my old AV lead in and it works! The picture is horrible, though. I plugged the SCART lead back in and it's the best picture of all. Not perfect, but better than the other two. H...

That dreaded day finally came.

I got a prostate exam. I've worried about it for years after hearing all kind of horror stories. It maybe wasn't quite as bad as I'd previously worked myself into a negative frenzy about (and it didn't last for 4 hours), but it was still.. a violation. One thing's damn sure: Any thoughts I may or ma...

Re: Bloggers, Youtubers & Streamers - Why?

A recent example of this is just this past few days, I've been Googling for reviews and suggestions for the best VFM indoor RC helicopter. There has been some cracking, witty and informative Youtube reviews, but I always have to scroll halfway through the video just for them to get to the point. Tha...

Re: Bloggers, Youtubers & Streamers - Why?

I'm in two minds about the whole self-promotion thing. I guess if it's a subject I'm interested in, I'll look for a site or blog, but I usually seek out either the official one, or at least the most professionally presented one. I generally won't click on a sig to someone's ramblings but I'll seek o...

When I read the thread title, I instantly thought of S.W.I.V on the ST.

Re: Best run and gun game?

I put a lot of time into Metal Slug when I had a loan of a Jamma cab in my old house, but I would have to go with Gunstar Heroes on Megadrive as I completed it back in the day and felt a proper bond with the game.

Re: Xmas 2015: What did we get?

The best thing I got was the discovery that, in PS4 Driveclub, they've added the ability to change the difficulty to easy and customise the controller to how I like to play. After months of not bothering with this amazing game, due to the rock hard (unfair?) gameplay, I find that after all the updat...

Re: V Rally 3

First I opened the thread saying VR was brilliant. Then I said the version 1 on psx was crap because of the twitchy handling.

2 and now 3 are ace. Especially 3, y'know, the reason for starting the thread?

Re: Gamecube - your favourite title and collecting

Got another bundle of Gamecube games today. Among them was King Arthur which I bought on a whim seeing as it was cheap and I'd never heard of it.

Well what a game! It's a hack-fest and a half. Some on horseback too, a la Dynasty Wars.
