Re: From the Forum - Issue 205: Sega vs Nintendo

Sega for the Golden Axe series alone. Then the Streets of Rage, Strider, and Vectorman franchises. Oh, and all the shooters. Thunderforce 4! I mean come on, Thunderforce 4!!

Re: Saturn Sega Rally

Even after adjusting the cars in Sega Touring Car, it still sucks. Yet, I still play it a couple of times a year.

Re: Saturn Sega Rally

My brother and me play Saturn SR when we visit each other. I always get my ass handed to me in a 3 lap time trial. He's usually a couple of seconds faster per lap. We always use the unmodded Celica.

25 years later, it's still an awesome game.

Re: Saturn Sega Rally

Lakeside wasn't included in my op because it's nondescript, boring and very much like an afterthought. You're right, though, in the interests of being factually correct, SR has 4 tracks.

The bonus, Lakeside, track always feels anti-climactic and a bit of a rubbish reward for winning.

Saturn Sega Rally

Saturn Sega Rally still gets a lot of love in my gaming man-cave. Not bad for a game from 1995 that looks rough by today's standards. Despite not having real life tracks and locations like the current big hitters, all 3 of the tracks in Sega Rally are so memorable and I'm still finding ways to shave...

Re: What are you currently playing?

Dirt Rally on PS4. Unforgiving and ultra-realistic, but so satisfying when you get your head round what's required to finish in the points. Rush Rally 3 on Switch. Surprisingly good, for the price. It looks good and is very forgiving in the handling dept. WRC 8 on Switch. Looks very good, but I've n...

Re: Nintendo Switch Discussion

I'm still preferring the physical, retail copies. Though I did buy Grid.

Dead Cells came yesterday - what an incredible game.

Re: Nintendo Switch Discussion

Is that a joke or are you trolling?

Just in case you're being serious, I'd ask simply that you reconsider what you posted and maybe have a think about just some of the big titles that came out recently.

Re: New Retro-Bit wireless Saturn controllers

Mine is here today, after getting stung with a phony £14 import duty by the Royal Scam, and it's utterly ace. I got the Slate Grey clear pad and fired off a couple of levels of Layer Section 2 on my JP Saturn. There's no lag that I can feel and it's a joy to hold. Simple to set up and it comes in wh...
