I used to bore people with Digitiser. People who had zero interest in anything even remotely videogame-like, let alone bizarre, irreverant and peurile rantings on teletext. The looks on some of their faces when they were reading were magic. None of them ever had a clue what any of it was about. Digi...

Re:
I was also a Mandrake fan for many years and only went away from it because of the Automount problem they used to have when you put a CD in. I stopped here to browse a while on my way to the Linux forums and your reply caught my eye. I installed Mandriva 2005 from cd on my old pc today and I'm havi...

I've spent the last couple of weeks in the company of Slackware, Damn Small Linux, Mandriva, Suse, PClinuxOS and Ubuntu. I've been somewhat of a distro glutton, but I've finally plumped for Mandriva 2006. Simply for ease-of use and it's the only one I managed to get a clean, first-time install on. L...

I toyed with Suse 10 then opted for the slightly easier Mandriva 2006. I'm dual booting my (this) XP pc. Last night I managed to install the Nvidia drivers from the command line environment (which was scary) and it seems to be running smoothly. I'm a bit disappointed to find Linux wont 'see' my AOL ...

who uses Linux?
I've just bought two Linux mags, each with a different version or 'distro' to install. If I install one of them, is the process reversible? will I still be able to access all my existing stuff? Can I dual-boot?
Does anyone else here use Linux?

Can I suggest though you rename those to "Sega Saturn collection" rather than just Saturn.
why? everyone browsing the Saturn section of Ebay knows where they are and what they're looking for, I would imagine.

Golden Axe
Don't know if it counts as a high score, but there was a time when I completed Golden Axe on Megadrive without losing a single life. It was set on easy, but that only means you have five bits of health bar instead of three in hard mode. Incidently, I finished Golden Axe at the Retro Ball on the Mame...
