Re:

... which brings this thread to a premature close, methinks. That's what I'm talking about. 'We've done that so let that be an end to it..run along now and don't bother us serious retrogamers with your little kiddies console nonsense any more' How many more issues would there be if the Spectrum and...

Re:

Now we are talking, Daytona, man have I wasted a few years on that. Fastest sonic oval time I have clocked up is 13.8 seconds, my missus can just shade that too. How does that compare to you guys? And you should count yourself lucky that you got the time wrong C4 :) 14 point something with manual g...

The only game I've put more hours in on in the arcade than Daytona is Strider, followed closely by Golden Axe.

What criteria does Sonic posess to warrant his inclusion in a worst game ever poll? It's absurd to put sonic in that list. Where's the Jetbollockminer games? they were rank.

Mine's more of an 'anti-moment'. I was at the local boot sale, just after the Dreamcast was released, when a guy asked me if I wanted to buy some Saturn games. I had a look and pointed to Panzer Dragoon Saga and asked, 'How much for that, mate?' The seller said, ''Yours for £25, mate' I laug...

That's a fair point. I worry that there's only so many times that RG can pay lip-service to the machines. It feels like RG is throwing scraps to the servants from the big retro gaming feasting table, just in the interest of appearing to be keeping the balance and stop the console-whiners from bitchi...

What I'd like to see is the 16-bit consoles given the same treatment as the 8-bit micros. What I mean is, rather than a couple of pages about the machine and the obligatory Top 10 games list, I'd be keen to read 'making of ' features developer profiles and, basically all the same kind of features th...

I'd quite like a Sega Power re-visit. It had more attitude than the other Sega mags, with exception of, maybe, Mega.

Ax Battler from Golden Axe. I'd get to wander about hacking at neds and chavs with a f**k-off sword, then be congratulated for it.

Yes, but it's equally tedious to be shot down in flames by 'the clique' every time you make a post. I think that's what he was referring to.
