They are in decline in Japan but still reasonably popular. Tokyo's Akihabara and Shinjuku districts in paticular still have tons of arcades.

There's still a few new releases coming through.

Casino arcade Tottenham Court Road is the best in London. Right next to Goodge St.

SF3.3, Tekken 5 DR, Mushihimesama, HSF2, KOF98, Progear no Arashi, Ibara (at the moment) and plenty more games.

Jesus there is a wiki for everything these days.

Pretty sure he only appeared in the Super/Hyper SF2 games and SFZ3 Upper/SFZ3 Home ports.

You have never played Image Fight? A vertical scroller from Irem, with 'force' like options.

The 360 cannot handle true low resolution graphics so the filters for these Live arcade games will be staying (assuming there are any more).

Yeah, the 16-bit era is where the template for awesome 2D gaming was made, everything after has added little to the core gameplay and just refined it a little instead with prettier gfx.
