Re: Xenoblade Chronicles

The first few hours of play did not leave me too impressed either. But I persevered, and, having notched up over 100 hours (according to my Wii) , look back on it as a great game. The characters are not the most interesting agreed (though I'd say the voice acting isn't bad- excepting that annoying C...

Japanese read from right to left too though.

Re: Conditions for a Final Fantasy VII remake

I think that if they made a remake akin to the Zelda Ocarina of Time remake on 3ds- staying true to the original but polishing the graphics up a bit- whilst very much keeping the super deformed style of the original, it would be fine. But a radical overhaul? No, just make a new game with Cloud as th...

Re: What are you currently playing?

Spent the last few weeks completing Super Mario Galaxy 2 again but this time collecting all 242 stars. Let's just say for those who know what I'm talking about, I think I may be stuck on 241 for some time.

Re: Does anyone collect (modern) game soundtracks?

On my Ipod I currently have the following soundtracks: Chrono Trigger Secret of Mana Final Fantasy 6 (Three SNES games with amazing music especially FF6) Golden Sun Dark Dawn (DS- Hugely underrated and with a great soundtrack) Final Fantasy 7 Final Fantasy 9 (PS) Xenoblade Chronicles (Wii) - Well pa...

Re: A game you got excited about...

Have to agree with Final Fantasy X. I loved FF6 on the Snes and 7 and 9 particularly on Playstation. All stone cold classics. So was looking forward to the first title on PS2 but it left me pretty disappointed. I'm not sure whether it's just that the story isn't as engaging, the characters aren't as...

Re: Quick get em while there cheap

Garbage truck simulator is rather ironic. Seems that is where most of PC Worlds copies will be heading.

Re: your favourite magazines growing up?

I loved Total and Super Play. Total, because the humour and pixelated cartoon writers appealed to my 13 year old self. Super Play, for any number of reasons, such as the superb anime style covers, the fact the price was in Yen as well as pounds, the quality of writing and reviews and the reports fro...

Re: 1992 - Let's go back

I remember going on a school trip to France in 1992 with a Game & Watch (Parachute) and coming back on my birthday to receive a Gameboy. Fond memories.
Coupled with that, I got a SNES for Christmas 92' and really got into games from then on.
